   We went for a casual business chat at lonestar and were given a spacious booth in a quieter room within the restaurant which was perfect. Food and service as always was fabulous.

   For some reason, the store keeps claiming they’ve dropped the western alumni discount. We eat at Lonestar’s all over Ontario KINGSTON Lonestar always gives us trouble. It was very nice that they gave the friends and family discount but we are looking for the alumni one thank you.

   The food was good but the service was slow. It was a quiet evening but it took a long time for our order to be taken and our food came an hour after we arrived.

   Overall the experience was pretty good. They seem to have reduced their menu considerably. They have taken Deep Fried Pickles, Onion Rings and Quesadilla off the menu which were always a family favourite. I am not sure what else specifically was missing but choices seemed much more limited. The waitress was very friendly, patient and attentive though very busy. Our dirty appetizer dishes remained on the table for a while, and were not removed even when another staff member brought out the fajita setups. This caused some confusion when the food came out as there was limited space to put it down. One of the fajita wrap warmers was empty. Although we made a reservation, we were seated at a high top in the bar area and sat next to a single-pane window that was so cold I had to wear my coat during my meal. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. They prepared the mashed guacamole at the table which was fun to watch. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend it for the Tex-Mex lovers out there!

   Was a really good visit. However after paying we dou le checked our bill and had been a bit over charged and the drinks were mixed up between our bills. We were a larger group though so could have contributed to the confusion.

   We dined at the Lone Star Grill in Kingston, Ontario for $59.99. We had the 7 oz Top Sirloin Steak, and it was cooked 100 percent right. The broccoli was warm but good. Amazing food and service! Our server was Alabama, and she did an amazing job from start to finish. She recommended the guacamole; she mixed the ingredients right in front of us, taking her time to explain each one. She did multiple quality checks and ensured our drinks were always full. 100% worth the tip we left, and she made our date night memorable. Thank you again, and Merry Christmas!

   My 16 year old and I took the two can dine for $59.99, my husband got his own plate. The food was excellent, good portions, my only “complaint “ would be, I could not have a baked potato with my steak.
