   Booked a last minute reservation through open table. Arrive. Appeared to be the manager (a man) who checked us in and sat us? Walked into the main dining room and his answer was “well you can pick, sit wherever” so we chose a booth. It was that not busy that we got told to pick our seats. Our server “blue jeans” started strong came over took our drinks and food order. Great. Our drinks came. Our appetizer came and then it took literally 30 minutes to get our mains. While the restaurant was very NOT busy might I remind you. To the point that we ate our appetizer and our free salsa and chips and still had time to kill before our main came out. I mentioned the time to the server after she said she would check on it, I said “yeah I was just going to mention it felt like it taking forever” (again, not a busy place on this Monday night). She got us a second round of drinks.. food came finally. She never asked how our food was (our tortillas were cold). Took our dishes and put our desert order in. Thankfully the desert also came quickly like the apps. But she didn’t offer us water or refills on our drinks or anything and we couldn’t ask because she was no where to be seen. I even asked my husband if he made eye contact to get her to come over. Asked for the bill. Didn’t tip because to be honest, every single time we go to the Milton location the food is okay but the service unfortunately sucks and isn’t getting any better. Other locations servers have so much personality and wander around more making themselves available for you if you need anything. I will say she started strong and just dropped off through our meal. She also brought us buffalo sauce for our chicken fajitas which was nice. When we left there was another man (also a manager? Maybe) who was leaning over the counter texting and didn’t even say goodbye or have a good night. I’ve worked in the food industry for over 10 years myself and personality is everything. Milton has never hired enough personality.

   Used to really like this place. Service is still good, a little slow, but the food is not where it once was. Had the wings and they were not very good.

   Fine. Service slightly slow and server seemed a bit overwhelmed. Food was fine. Would try once more and see if made better.

   Table did not have all the cutlery or condiments. Food took a while to come out. Wings were way over cooked and barely any sauce on it. Curly fries were overcooked and dried. Chicken in Fajita was ok. But the tortillas were a bit too thick and spongy. At the price you pay for these dinners it’s a shame to miss the mark on so many levels to just get that extra experience when wanting to eat out.

   This experience wasn't the best I have had there. My wife took me and the kids out for my birthday. We asked the waitress for more nachos, and said she would get more but didn't bring anymore. When our food came there were missing an empty plate for fajitas, which I had to ask another waitress for since I couldn't find our waitress. We asked for a sprite for one of the kids at our table, which we never received. The food was great, but that is about all that was good about it. My wife was upset and to be honest it bothered me too. Can't have a good time going out to a restaurant on a special day, only for other people to not enjoy due to bad service. We will probably be back, but if the next time we go is just ad bad, we will more than likely not be returning.

   Thank you for your feedback. We understand that prices within the restaurant industry have risen over the past few years as overall food inflation has continued to rise. We are doing our best to manage all the costs associated with running our business and still provide great value to our guests. We still commit to making over 25 different salsas, spices, sauces, guacamole, queso, rice and beans fresh in-house daily - plus providing complimentary chips and salsa during each visit. There is a cost associated with this and we hope you taste the difference. We do our best to continue to serve great tasting, freshly made tex-mex items and ensure that the value for our customers remains strong.    Overall good only the concern was a fly and a bee was flying in the restaurant and was not feeling comfortable and feeling scared it would stink my guest...hope this minor issue could have been resolved.... otherwise everything was good and fantastic....hope to visit u guys again....cheers.

    This is not the same type of experience that we've always had at the Lone Star in London, Ontario. It was SUPER disappointing. My motto is: "The root of all disappointment is expectation." That was the case here. We had high expectations as we were super excited to be dining at the Lone Star since it had been a while since we were able to because the one in London has closed down. That was our first mistake.
