   I have been to lonestar on many occasions before and have never had any issues however when I turned up for this booking with my friends on Saturday, the place was closed. There was no communication regarding the closure beforehand and to be honest this ruined our long awaited evening. We had no other booking and as all restaurants now require pre booking we had no choice but to go back home. I would appreciate next time to be notified by email if my booking cannot be honored.

   the restaurant was closed when we arrived, totally spoilt our evening as couldn't get in anywhere else.

   Lonestar was shut I went all way to Sheffield paid by taxi which cost me £20 to find out the restaurant was shut I had a text the day before to confirm my booking But when I got there the shutters was down and it had a sign in the window stating they had been shut since the 1st August due to COVID 19 and they had been contacting everyone to cancel there booking ?? But I had a text on the 19 August asking if I was still going to make the booking not to cancel it I tried to book somewhere else in Sheffield but everything was fully booked due to the help out to eat scheme Really disappointed as this was book for my 4 year anniversary and first time we had been out of the house after the pandemic I understand the reason it was shut but better customer service or a email or phone would have stopped us wasting money to get there

   First time visiting and was a lovely experience. Everything was clear in terms of Covid. Table service was excellent, staff were lovely and kept the drinks flowing. Great value for money as well. We ordered off the small plates menu and they were great.

   We go for afternoon tea quite often and this was our first with lonestar but won't be our last. it was tasty and had a good selection of savoury and sweet. The young lady serving us was very polite and helpful. The overall feel and look of the restaurant/bar was lovely.

   Great food,commended the chef on his presentation and quality of the meal. Nice comfortable table,the feel of a coffee bar/Bistro but not a restaurant. Cocktails 2-4-1 made it a bit more special. Nice place to relax and eat before heading into publand.

   Lovely place with kind and friendly staff. Food was lovely and good price! Good selection of beers on tap plus the cocktails were excellent! I really enjoyed my night and would definitely go again :)
