Botana

  • Botana Oaxaqueña individual.

    Recomendada para compartir. Memelas, costillas de cerdo, taquitos con mole colorado, tasajo, chiles pasillas rellenos de picadillo y quesillo.

    • Taquitos fritos.

      Tacos fritos rellenos de picadillo y bañados con queso fresco. Pueden ser con mole colorado o guacamole.

      • Chiles rellenos.

        Elige entre chile pasilla relleno de picadillo o chile de agua oaxaqueño relleno de chapulines y quesillo.

        • Tlayudas.

          Sencilla con aciento y queso o Especial (puedes elegir entre tasajo/cecina/costilla, con verduras, frijol, queso y quesillo)

            Quesillo gratinado. Elige entre natural, con champiñones o chapulines.

            Moles

            • Mole Negro.

              El magnífico mole negro de Oaxaca elaborado con más de 23 ingredientes incluyendo el chile endémico chile Chilhuacle que crece en la cañada. Nos presenta un aroma ahumado y aceitoso debido a los 5 días de preparación para soltar aceites de los cacahuates, nueces, almendras y ajonjolí. Aromas frutales por los plátanos machos, pasas y demás ingredientes, un ligero sabor a chocolate.

              • Mole Colorado.

                Mole elaborado con 2 variedades de chiles rojos y otros 20 ingredientes. Sabores afrutados y achocolatados logran un sabor que se presenta en capas: salado al inicio, pasando a dulce y picoso al final.

                • Mole Chichilo.

                  el chile predominante en este mole es el chilhuacle de Cuicatlán. Se le agrega tlayuda carbonizada, los aceites de la hoja de aguacate le brindan un sabor anisado.

                  • Mole Verde.

                    Mole del día elaborado a base de chile jalapeño con sabores a canela, comino y hoja santa.

                    • Mole Amarillo.

                      Mole elaborado con chiles costeños, ligeramente picosos. Recomendamos acompañarlo de cebollas curtidas en limón.

                      • Estofado Almendrado.

                        Mole elaborado con base de tomate, almendras y pan resobado. Su sabor es dulce.

                        • Estofado Alcaparrado.

                          Mole elaborado con alcaparras, base de miltomate y pan resobado. Su sabor es agridulce.

                                                                                                    Los Pacos is a wonderful experience to try the 7 traditional moles for which Oaxaca is known. They were more or less able to accommodate our vegetarian preferences, but all the moles have a chicken broth base, so if you are strictly vegetarian, this is not the place for you.

Once you taste each mole you can order 3 different moles along with 3 different proteins so you can have a complete experience comparing these wonderful flavors. Staff was very attentive and the meal was delicious!

We tried the free tastings of the different moles then decided on our favorites. We had Mezcalitas and both ordered the special with cheese and chicken in the red mole—totally fabulous!

                                                                                                    Enjoyed an incredible evening at Los Pacos and highly recommend. A short walk from the historic district (25 minutes) and a new-to-us area of the City. Staff were very accommodating of our limited Spanish and the owner (a lovely lady) explained the 7 types of mole while we tasted each. Then we ordered and enjoyed a delicious meal. Mezcal cocktail with passion fruit too. Thank you to all !
