   Fun night out for a little kid birthday dinner! Our server Austin was attentive, food was delicious as always, and the staff was all cheerful and accommodating!

   Malnati’s Lake in the Hills is a great spot for kicking off the New Year (as we did tonight), celebrating a birthday or just enjoying a delicious pizza, salad and a beer with your friends and family. It’s a warm, comfortable place with the friendliest servers in Chicagoland. It’s on our top 10 list for local eateries. Love Lou Malnati’s!

   We had reservations for 6 at 4pm made so far in advance we were really looking forward to going but this visit stunk! The 3 pan pizza’s from large to small were cold when brought to us and the first slice was served. We’re not talking warm they were cold without melted cheese. We actually held off on having another slice so we could heat it up at home ourselves. The service was not great we barely saw her! Seriously rethinking Lou’s it’s not like it used to be.

   Very busy Friday night. Combo appetizer was great. We ordered 2 deep dish pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. Pasta was hot but pizza’s were lukewarm

    We were celebrating our son’s 6th birthday and he only wanted Lou’s. We’ve been to other locations previously, but this was our first time at the Lakewood location as well as the first time celebrating a birthday there. All staff were pleasant and our server was phenomenal. She really made our son feel special and was genuinely interested in getting to know him. This is particularly important to us as our son is gifted and his personality, interests, maturity is that of a 10year+ old, not a 6 year old, which often surprises strangers. This beautiful quirk did not phase her one bit. In fact, she was loving the interaction. So, thank you so much for making our son feel like The King of the Day that he very much deserved!
