    Upon walking into Louie’s, you feel like a family guest. Our favorite appetizer was the Poached Pear Sacchetoni and the oysters were top notch as well. We ordered the calamari but it was over cooked and mediocre. We also had the Brussels sprout salad which was delicious. For entrees, we had lamb chops and a seafood special - both were just okay. The seafood did not appear fresh and was over cooked. Our server was excellent, but food came out way too fast - salad came out with appetizers. I think we were in and out on a Saturday night in less than an hour. I would give this place another try and just bring a bottle of wine and order an assortment of appetizers next time.

    Fantastic dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday. She had scallops over pork belly and risotto and I had surf and turf. We started with the antipasto, half of which we brought home. Matthew took very good care of us and all on the Louie’s team were warm and welcoming. Looking forward to going back.

    The four of us went to have lunch. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was great. My only negative comment is the crab cake was mostly breading with no chunks of meat, and the menu made it seem like it came with a side of a brussel sprout salad, but it was just a garnish on top of the crab cake. My friends' meals were very good. I'll go back, I just won't get the crab cake.

    If you're looking for a restaurant with great food and service that is a BYOB, Louis by Chef Jason delivers. The bread served at the table has roasted garlic that spreads nicely on this warm baquette and has a sweet taste. We've eaten here several times and ordered a different salad to start each time and they were all delicious. I'm partial to fish and had the swordfish with the butternut squash puree and spinach and it was delicious. My sister had the lamb chops and thoroughly enjoyed them and my husband had the short rib that just came apart tender and delicious. For dessert my husband ordered the salted carmel cheese cake and it was delightful. The ingredients are fresh and bursting with flavor. We can't wait to go back. If you love great food, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, check it out.
