    Wonderful warm and smiling service and generous serving sizes..we over ordered expecting the cheese and meat platters to be tiny but they certainly weren’t ! Everything was delicious..the Parmesan fries a particular favourite. We ogled the meals arriving at the surrounding tables and definitely will try the brisket and risotto next visit. Don’t miss the Espresso Pannacotta! We also did the premium wine tasting which is definitely worth arriving a little early for. Ralf (weekends) is knowledgeable and thorough and despite there being a lot of people partaking around the tasting table(standing room only at one point!) he managed to make us all feel well attended to and informed. He targeted his commentary to the interests of the various groups having a tasting and I’m sure we only scratched the surface of his knowledge due to the numbers he was attending to. The wine range is extensive and will certainly have something to please both traditional and more adventurous palates :)

    The staff were brilliant, no complaints. Loud jazz music spoiled the ambiance of the dining experience. The brisket was gristly and too chewy. The seafood pasta was bland and lacking seafood. On the whole, just a disappointing lunch.

    Quantity not quality. We had the Feed Me option - the pasta portions were basic - the beef ragout was poor. Very disappointing!

    Have been trying to come to this place for years. Love that you can share the meal with a few people. Amazing food. Sad to hear it might be closing in the next few weeks.

    After reading great reviews and noting the menu, felt very excited about trying this place. Service couldn’t be faulted but the food was. Food served was luke warm on cold plates. Sent mine back to heat up. Another dish looked like it may have been previously heated up in the microwave. Really disappointed as we took family there, who were visiting from Sydney. This was not a special experience unfortunately.

    The food was fantastic, the service was very good the atmosphere was great. The venue was cold and we asked for the heating to be turned up. Lots of people were sitting in their jackets so obviously felt the same way. I was very disappointed to be approached mid experience by a guy coming over to sell his wine. He advised that he was no part of Lou's Place restaurant but rather a part of the winery. He did not excuse himself for clearly interrupting our conversation and we all felt this was quite rude. He apologised for interrupting us at the end of his 5 minute presentation but did not read our body language and that we weren't impressed by his approach. I was not happy about this and therefore had absolutely no intention to buy any of his wine. I would like this feedback passed on to the relevant person as it was disappointing.

    The creamy sauce was to salty . Never a worst tiramisu in my life . Over powering of lemon. It was good before my third time over there. Hyped up place
