   We loved it, the food was good, the service was good, the atmosphere was good (busy but good). We couldn’t fault it and will definitely go back.

   Didn’t have enough staff on door to handle coats for guests coming and going so lots of standing around entrance. 2 of the forks on table for 5 were dirty (residual food on them). Previous guest’s table napkin and spilt food left at foot of table. Main dishes super late; we enquired 3 times and were told each time it would come shortly but never did; eventually acknowledged there had been a system error; so we gave up, paid for our appetisers and left. Appetisers were fine, ambiance too loud and bright.

   Service was very poor. Indifferent welcome and wasn’t able to sit straight away. Waited 20 minutes to get a drink. Ambience was oppressive as it was so loud and food was overpriced.

   We travelled across London to visit this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend, but unfortunately, our experience was thoroughly disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, the staff appeared completely disorganised. Our waiter looked dishevelled, as though he’d turned up after a heavy night out—bloodshot eyes and an inability to focus on what we were saying. Every time we ordered something from the menu, he seemed confused, asked us to point to it, and then lost interest, gazing around the room instead of paying attention to us. We ordered cocktails and water, but once we’d finished them, no one came to offer refills or check on us. It felt as though we were completely forgotten. We asked for our garlic bread and mozzarella starter to arrive with the mains, but it didn’t. When the bread eventually came, it was just plain warm bread—no trace of garlic. We called over a waitress to explain, and she simply removed the dish, saying she’d let the kitchen know. There was no further communication until ten minutes later, when another garlic bread arrived—again as a starter. This time it had a slight garlic flavour but still no mozzarella. By this point, we’d given up trying to enjoy it. To make matters worse, the staff waited until we’d finished the bread to bring our mains, and they removed the leftover bread from the table without leaving it for us to finish. The mains themselves were decent, but by then, the overall experience had soured any chance of us appreciating them. We still hadn’t been offered more drinks or checked on during the meal. Finally, it took us ten minutes to flag someone down to pay, only to find a £17 service charge had been added to our bill. We paid but received no “thank you” or inquiry about how our meal was—just a complete lack of basic courtesy or personality. Overall, we left feeling thoroughly unimpressed and will not be returning.

   Really nice comfortable restaurant with good table service.We both had lasagne which was very nice although a tad well done on the top.
