Lucky Robot is the first sushi restaurant in Texas to partner with the James Beard Foundation and Monterrey Bay Aquarium sustainability programs. We are committed to healthy oceans.

Our kitchen is lead by two time Ora King Finalist Jay Huang. Our food is Modern Nikkei cuisine, a balance of Japanese cuisine accentuated with the fragrant chilies and aromatic spices of Latin America.

Prime dry-aged fish is here. A tradition started over 200 years ago in Tokyo and now the first in Texas. Prime Dry Aged Fish will allow you to taste the fish in its purest form. Breaking down tissues and sugars allows new flavors and textures that bring the fish to its cleanest, most tender form. Age = Flavor.

    Fish was far from fresh. I got sick after dinner. King Salmon belly Nagiris were very good, but ridiculously priced at $8.50 a piece. Will not go back.

    Our server - Ian - was great. He made recommendations that we ended up going with for the most part. We didn’t regret a thing. The food was ridiculously good. From the nagiri, to crudo, to some hot dishes, everything was a hit. We even enjoyed some tea during dinner that was amazing. I would recommend some options from the rotating nightly menu that depends on what fresh fish they are offering for nagiri or sashimi. We chose a swordfish and tuna that were both fantastic. This was one of my favorite dining experiences in all of Austin. I have nothing but good things to say about Lucky Robot, and I will definitely be back. Hoping to check out their happy hour soon that seemed to have some pretty great deals.

    Chef Jay & his team always do an exceptional job but this special omakase menu was unique, flavorful, & great value for portion size. Highly recommend their market box or other sushi options!

    One of my favorite sushi spots in Austin. The pork belly and shrimp bao buns were amazing. Spicy edamame was solid too. The Voltron roll was super fresh, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable!

    Great vibes and great atmosphere! The service was excellent and our waitresses and waiters were outstanding! They made me and my partner feel so welcome. And of course the food was excellent. The Sea-3PO roll was delicious!

    this place was amazing! the ambience is so cool and beautiful. the staff is incredibly knowledgable and friendly. and the food... wow. only critique is the portions are a little small for the amount you pay, but I say that knowing I would go back to try the more expensive dishes because I know they will knock my socks off.
