   SO not worth it!! This place should be so much better than it is. My husband added the “jumbo shrimp” to his steak for $15 and it came out with three little previously frozen, regular shrimp you can buy a pound for $8 at the store, they were NOT jumbo, just little regular shrimp pathetically leaning against his steak, which was barely warm when it came out. One was even missing the tail. Like really? I want to emphasize, they charge $15 for 3 INDIVIDUAL, REGULAR SHRIMP. That they sell you as “Jumbo.” Everything lacked seasoning and salt. Plates were cold. When my steak came, it looked like the plate had been sitting out with the béarnaise sauce and asparagus for ages, the top of the sauce was congealed, asparagus stone cold! Gross!! My steak itself was hot but when I cut into it it was well done (we both ordered medium rare). If you are wanting a nice steakhouse experience where they bring crusty bread to the table for you and the plates come out sizzling, the steaks are flavorful and HOT, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This whole thing just felt so half-assed and like a middle finger to the customer. It’s like no one cares back there. Servers were nice and attentive but they can’t remedy the problems in the kitchen. Huge waste of money, never coming back.

   We enjoyed our evening at L&P but a few things to note. Music was far too loud for a slow Thursday evening (6:45). We requested to be seated as far as possible from the speakers and still had a hard time conversing. The steaks had very little seasoning for our taste, but were very tender good cuts. (All 8oz filets) Our server was wonderful with a very good personality and attention to detail. (Sorry I don’t recall his name) They need to update their menu on Open Table & website as it shows options no longer served there like Chilean Sea Bass. Overall it was a pleasant evening but the experience didn’t justify the price. We will still check out lunch & brunch options though.

   The surf and turf was missing the surf portion of the deal - we did not get 3oz of lobster on the top of our steaks - pricey for what you get! The service and environment were top notch.

   Overpriced… our steak was very tough and no flavor. Better steaks at Outback or OCharley’s for half the price. Just nothing special about the place… we waited for so long for this place to open… almost seems like they ran out of money and cut corners on finishes. We sat close to restrooms… able to see urinals when door opened… very disappointing.

   Everything was PERFECT -once we got there LOL! We used uber for 8 to your “other location” that was closed? But no worries! We ended up at your beautiful restaurant and enjoyed our evening immensely!

   L&P is one of my favorite restaurants in Brentwood and Berry Farms. We love their food and their happy hour is one of the best in town. Courtney, Mandy, and John absolutely crush it on service!

   Great little date night spot- my boyfriend and I got hamburgers. Absolutely delicious. The fries were 10/10. Great service as well. Definitely coming back!
