   I expected to have a better dining experience, being in New Orleans where the food is considered exceptional. All of the meals were just okay, not great. The noise level was extremely high, making it difficult to visit with our friends. The only items that I could say were very good were the bread pudding and the chocolate torte (which was not garnished with fruit or cream). I do not recommend Lula’s.

   My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time this evening. I started with fried green tomatoes with shrimp, okra, bacon, jalapenos and a delicious sauce. I followed this with blackberry glazed ribs, creole slaw and roasted corn on the cob. The dessert was a flour less dark chocolate torte. My wife enjoyed grilled shrimp with Caesar salad and lemon ice box cake. This restaurant was the best we visited on our trip to New Orleans. This is the end of Day 4 of our trip. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

   Terrible. Third time at this restaurant, I keep trying thinking it must be better than the last. Several consistent factors: unfriendly host, food takes FOREVER, and noise level is off the charts. Food is marginal not worth the price or headaches in waiting for food and drinks. Atmosphere is cold and impersonal. Won’t be giving another try.

   Food and cocktails was very good and reasonably price. But not happy when we were told that another party needed our table and we had 5 mins to leave. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and the restaurant was not busy and had plenty of other tables to accommodate the other group. We are in from out of town and this was definitely rude! I would not go back to this restaurant. Was a crummy way to treat a party of 4 who spent a good amount of money with this establishment and to be rushed out for no reason!

   Our reservation was at 7pm on a Saturday evening, so clearly it's a very popular time. But the noise level was so loud we had to shout in order to converse with one another. The food was great, and well-priced. And the waiter was very kind and friendly.

    The food was fine--not great, but not bad. The service, overall, was less than attentive, as it took us over 2 and a half hours to be served and paid out.
