   We had dinner last night and it was amazing. Our waiter Julio went above and beyond to make the evening wonderfull. I had the lasagne with filet and my wife had the veal chop, truly amazing food. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

   Food was delicious! We enjoyed the pasta with meat sauce and Caesar salad. And a glass of Prosecco. Everything was wonderful and our server was terrific.

   We went to Lula’s late in a Thursday. We were seated in the bar, which was quieter than the main rooms. Ambience was cozy and warmer than the main. Our food was excellent; as party of four, we sampled several appetizers and entrees. All of the dishes were larger than the prices suggested that they would be. Service was well paced. Our only dissatisfaction was with our very personable server. While he was very friendly, he suggested one of his “favorite” wines, without asking for a price range. While they had many wines at good prices, he had immediately gone to a $150 bottle which was not on the menu; luckily we asked the price before ordering! That was our only complaint about his service. All in all, we will be returning to the restaurant in a regular basis,

   The overall ambiance of the place needs some improvement. The lighting is too bright and lacks contrast, creating an unappealing mood. The walls blend seamlessly with the ceiling in a dull brownish color, making the space feel monotonous. Additionally, there’s a lack of decoration to soften the atmosphere. The bar itself is unappealing. As for the food, we were quite disappointed. We ordered a couple of appetizers and two entrees. The mozzarella appetizer was outstanding, but the calamari was just okay, nothing special. My meatballs were plain and lacked any flavor, while the mushrooms contorni (side dish) was bland. My husband ordered the veal, which was decent, but he raved about the pasta. On the bright side, the service was incredible! From the receptionist to the waitress, everyone was attentive and friendly.

   Outstanding experience. 4 in our party and all of us savored everything we ordered. So many great choices on the menu too which made selecting what to order quite a task. Apps: mushroom flatbread, Cesar salad & the meatballs with ricotta - all winners! Main courses: branzino, braised short rib lasagna with filet& puréed peas & last but definitely not least veal chop parm with side of rigatoni in light tomato sauce (enough for 2+ people to share!). Lovely setting too! The way each dish is plated is so appealing, too! Finale: chocolate soufflé cake with vanilla gelato - excellent! Our new favorite restaurant !!

   It was OK. Not what I have experienced from other Todd English restaurants. There’s a lot of potential here but everything was just OK.

   The place is very new and the wait staff needs better training . The place says it’s a steak Italian they should eliminate the steaks is not good and very fatty . They should zero in their menus on just doing Italian dishes . The pasta dish I had was ok but not compared to the Italian food I can get up North in restaurants in New York . This by far is not New York dinning! They are trying but they have many kinks to work out. The location is in an area that has biker type bars for locals The atmosphere surrounding the restaurant is not so safe to walk to from your car . Warning gun fights have broken out in the immediate area killing four people in December. Many challenges for this place .
