   Luminosa never disappoints. Great wine and cocktails, amazing lemon pizza, radicchio salad with aged balsamic, fabulous bucatini carbonara, heavenly gnocchi and divine tiramisu, it was a memorable and delicious birthday dinner.

   At arrival, we we met by the front host. He was a bit rude. Seemed annoyed and lacking any decorum. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. However, the young man that sat that sat us, was very nice. The service was amazing and our waitress was fantastic. My entree was unfortunately a very tough and had way to much char. The side of polenta was very tasty. My company had a pasta dish as did the other person in our party. I was able to try theirs and both were very good. The cocktails were great and the desserts were all great. There were a lot of great personal touches from staff. Overall, as much as I love wood fired food, I would have gone pasta. If the front host was much nicer, I would have given the place a higher score but he really was a bad start to what ended up being a good evening. It does get a bit noisy but it’s a busy place and is to be expected to be a little loud.

   Fantastic dining experience. Amazing staff, warm ambience, delicious food! Everyone and everything were outstanding! We are locals and will definitely be back! Enjoyed a variety of pasta--rigatoni, caramelle and carbonara, the sausage, and semifreddo--all were delicious! Excellent selection of libations. All were played beautifully and tasted amazing! Enjoyed the darkened atmosphere accented by the bustling kitchen with occasional bursts of flame from the oven. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

   The wood fired pizza is paper thin, crisp and delicious. Perfect! Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Highly recommend.

   Everything we ordered was 5 star! Full of flavor and beautiful. We are vegan and even in the winter there were 5 options. This is exceptional for a non vegan/vegetarian restaurant. The quality. service and vibe easily tops our list and this comes from locals. We can’t wait to go back !

   We started with the lemon pizza which was an interesting and delicious combination. We both chose in house made pastas. The pastas were excellently prepared but the mafaldine pasta dish was lacked flavor as the sauce was minimal. The kholrabi side dish was unusual and delectable. The Panna Cotta was authentically prepared , creamy and topped beautifully with glass sugar and salted crumbles. Our server gave a thorough introduction to the restaurant including information about the chefs, locally sourced farms and the items on the menu. We will be returning soon.

   The food was all wonderful as were the cocktails. The environment is low light romantic and the downstairs bar was a lovely way to end the night, I hope to go back many times. Food highlights for us were the pillowy gnocchi and the expertly prepared beef carpaccio
