Excellent food, excellent service! It was a bit noisy and loud but we also went on a Saturday night... Would definitely recommend the homemade pasta dishes and can't wait to go back to try some more!

Super disappointed with Luna. I was looking forward to the dinner as I have enjoyed watching Giada cooking shows. The noise level was ridiculous. Tables so close to each other that I couldn’t even hear my spouse during dinner. I also had people bumping into my chair when they walked by. They charge a service fee for the ambiance, which there is no ambiance. The food did not meet my expectations at all especially for the cost. Definitely do not recommend this place!

Melanie our server was absolutely amazing! Fast, attentive, and efficient with our order. Thanks so much!! You were GREAT!! 😍 Friday night - Table of four to celebrate my Birthday! Starters: We ordered 2 Caesar salads (very good but could have had a bit more parm ch and the freeze dried capers were a great touch!), Arancini (light and delicious - a must!). Meals: Signature Lemon Spaghetti (was okay, but barely warm but the shrimp were tasty), Margarita Pizza (delicious as well), 2 steaks (underwhelming unfortunately and dry for medium temp - but you don’t order steak when you go to an Italian restaurant, duh). Dessert: cheesecake with raspberries was AMAZING! ORDER IT!! Bonus: They also brought a gelato and cookie with a candle to celebrate my birthday which was unexpected. Overall, mixed with my review (maybe 4 out of 5 stars) as it was a good experience and glad we tried it, but felt a bit overpriced, especially with $20-$25/drink… Thank you!

THIS IS NOT A $$ RESTAURANT!! It is easily a $$$, maybe $$$$. The appetizers were all over $20. Apps should not be the same as an entree!! Do you remember when Italian restaurants use to just bring out bread when you sat down?? Not this place. $15 for a small focaccia with lemon butter and oil. My fiancé had the signature lemon pasta with shrimp (and the waitress of course tried to upsell by offering lobster instead of shrimp) and I had the branzino. 2 jumbo shrimp and lemon sauce poured over a spaghetti tower. The branzino was cooked really well, which was the only saving grace for the evening, but had NO seasoning. Even a little finishing salt could have saved it. It was sprinkled with pomegranate seeds which added a little something, but overall the food was just ok. I would have liked to order more so that we could have a good sampling of dishes, but at the prices, that was not going to happen. The pastas were all over $30 and then if you wanted to add a protein like chicken, shrimp, scallops or sausage, it would be an extra $20. And not to mention, 3.5% resort admin fee added to every bill. I have no problem paying for good food, but expensive and bland is not a good combo. Desserts were $20!!! With all the amazing restaurants in Scottsdale/Phoenix, Luna by Giada falls way short of what it should be.

We dined here last night with a group of four. The staff, service, and overall atmosphere were exactly what we expected — warm, attentive, and very good. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations, especially considering the reputation attached to Giada’s name and the number of exceptional restaurants nearby. Out of the four meals, only one truly impressed. The pork chop saltimbocca had to be sent back for being overcooked and very dry; the replacement was slightly better but still disappointingly dry and unpleasant. The steak was not grilled to the requested doneness, and the overall flavor profile fell flat. The pasta was fine but forgettable — nothing special. On a positive note, the branzino was excellent, as were the crab arancini and the arugula salad, which stood out among the dishes we tried. Dessert is a must try. To their credit, the staff was incredibly accommodating and did everything they could to make the experience right. It’s just unfortunate that the food didn’t meet the high expectations we had coming in. We might return for cocktails or a glass of wine, but likely not for a full meal.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience at Luna by Giada was such a letdown, I felt compelled to share. From beginning to end, it just missed the mark. I ordered the signature lemon pasta, expecting something special, but could barely take a few bites. It was runny, the pasta was undercooked—well beyond “al dente”—and the flavor was just off. To make it worse, the table next to us ordered the same dish, and neither of the women could finish theirs either. That told me it wasn’t just me. We also tried the crab arancini, which strangely had no crab in them. It felt misleading and underwhelming. The atmosphere was elegant and beautifully designed, which I appreciated. But it felt mismatched when the staff showed up in jeans—it didn’t fit the upscale vibe at all. Overall, this just wasn’t the experience I expected from a Giada-owned restaurant. It looked the part, but the food and execution fell way short.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—we're truly sorry to hear your experience at Luna by Giada didn’t meet expectations. We take comments like yours seriously, and it's clear we missed the mark on several fronts during your visit. The issues with the lemon pasta and crab arancini are especially disappointing, and we’ll be reviewing both dishes closely with our culinary team to ensure they’re being executed with the quality and care our guests deserve. We also appreciate your note on the dress code and how it impacted the overall atmosphere—we’re reevaluating this to better align with the elevated dining environment we strive to create. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future, as this is far from the standard we aim to uphold. Regards, The Team at Luna

I’m sorry to say the Sunday brunch experience was a big disappointment. While the service staff was excellent and attentive the food selection was limited -cold pasta, pizza, over seasoned meat, shellfish stuck in shells. There were no shrimp or tiramisu by the time we arrived at 130 seating. Zero gluten free options-my meal was cheese, olives, salami and over-salted fatty steak $150. They kindly brought a gluten-free dessert from their dinner menu after I mentioned issues. It’s a beautiful hotel but we won’t be back.

Thank you for your honest feedback. While we're glad to hear our service team made a positive impression, we're very sorry the brunch fell short in so many key areas. We sincerely regret the limited gluten-free options, the food quality concerns, and the lack of availability of certain items during your seating. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we’ll be addressing these issues with our culinary team immediately. We appreciate you acknowledging the effort to bring out a gluten-free dessert, but understand that doesn’t make up for the overall letdown. Your experience is not reflective of our standards, and we truly regret we missed the opportunity to deliver something special. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future. Regards, The Team at Luna by Giada
