   Front desk was rude. We had a reservation and asked for a booth but they put us at a table with bar chairs. We said we'd wait for a booth and they put us at small one right next to the door. Probably the worse table in the house. People waiting for tables without a reservation got better tables. The sever was very slow, didn't know the menu. She said she had to go check the posted pictures in the back to tell us what the crudo looked like. We ordered two apps and drinks. Ordered our 2nd drinks through the bus person because the server never came back. She passed by a few times but it felt like she was ignoring us. Didn't respond to my voice or my hand up to try to get her attention. When we sat down we said to her that we wanted try a number of apps and then order entrees because it was our first time. We never made it. No entrees. Had to leave because we ran out of time, needed to get back to our babysitter. Server gave us our check with 2 apps missing, then told us she had to add them right before she ran our card. We hadn't noticed. She made a big deal about it and it felt a little scammy, like she was sniffing for us to give her a big tip if she left off some food from the bill. Felt a little ill later. Might have been the Watermelon Mojito, because it's the only thing my wife and I didn't share. We are local. Won't be back.

   Absolutely delicious lunch. And dessert was over the top, flour less chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I could eat there everyday.

   Everything was perfect except for the noise level and that put a damper on the experience. We will return, but probably only for lunch, where the noise level is minimal.

   This was our first time at Lure. We had a nice meal. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The menu has a good range of options and the prices were very reasonable given the quality and freshness of the seafood. Our only complaint is that the service was very slow. Assuming that was an anomaly, we'll very likely be back.

   The staff was friendly - the service was fast - love being able to make a reservation - food was excellent - the noise level is way too high but that will not keep me from going back.

   Lure in Santa Barbara is one of our favorites, so we were excited to visit the new location in San Luis Obispo for lunch. Very attraction restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, reasonable parking (also metered street parking close by). Love the highbacked booths. Only TV was in the bar area and did not distract us. Raw Bar was excellent, and the wine list offers 6oz and 9oz servings at very fair prices. My wife had Sand Dabs with pineapple Cole slaw and Brussel sprouts. Just excellent. I had cup of Clam chowder. One of the best I've had in a long time. Loaded with plenty of clams and a little spicy kick to it. I had the Shrimp Curry with Jumbo shrimp. Good spice and while it was a little too salty for my taste, my wife said it wasn't to hers. We shared a Key Lime pie, also delicious Bill, with 2 90z glasses of wine came to a little over $100. For the quality of the food and the high quality of service, we felt this was a very fair cost. We'll be back

   Cioppino was excellent, generous portions of fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, and mussels. Appetizers were amazing: calamari, fish skewers, shrimp. Service was great. Great suggestions. My first time here. Will return!

    We love Lure but our last experience was disappointing. As always, the food was delicious but it was more than an hour wait to get it. It was very busy that night but we felt service was too slow. It was also very loud, making conversation difficult. When the bill came it was correct, however, when the credit card was run, somehow that bill was nearly $60 more. Probably someone else’s bill. We didn’t notice until after the bill was signed and it took another 20 min to get the charges straightened out. We had allotted 1h45m for dinner so as to have plenty of time to get to the play afterwards. With the long wait for our meals and the problem with the bill, we just made it to the show on time.
