   I met a colleague for a business discussion over lunch. Our table was well placed, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food and service excellent. A good local restaurant for all purposes.

   Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and great service. Three of us in our party, we shared the Meze board to start which was just the perfect amount and tasted delicious. All three of us had the chicken schnitzel dish, it was so tasty - the chilli and caper linguine left a delicious taste. Too full for desert. The service was great, perfect time between each course and the staff were very attentive. Moderately priced, a hefty service charge - which of course was optional, but we paid.

   We always love going to Lussmans but the food last night wasn’t up to standard. My husband’s fish was under cooked, the seasonal vegetables were served in a small dish and were mainly leeks, it wasn’t tasty. My fish cake was lovely and so was my guest’s shepherds pie but it looked pretty bland in terms of presentation. The crumble was under cooked and my chocolate mousse didn’t taste of very much. So overall not the best meal we have had there.

   Efficient waiter and delicious food. What’s not to like? Being open for breakfasts would be good. Was always busy when previous owners provided this service. AnnB

   Truly excellent from start to finish. The orange bitter Cointreau crème brûlée was the best crème brute I’ve ever had.

   We had a lovely window table but it was very noisy. The food was good but it is pricey.

   We had a thoroughly lovely experience in the Berkhamsted restaurant last night. We ate early from the set menu, the food was superb quality, fresh and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and polite. Well done Team Lussmans!
