Good but can’t go more than 3 stars across everything. £200 for four of us with no starter and a few drinks is enough for this. As I say good but not great.

Thanks Neville We also offer a great locals set menu available daily for two and three courses till 6pm. Cost £20.95 for 2 and £23.95 for three courses. This value menu has been in place for 15years now. Best Andreo

My friend & I both had the special (chicken fricassee) & thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent, as was the ambience. We will definitely return.

Great meal. Wonderful service. It’s a pity the fishcake doesn’t come with an accompaniment. A ‘side’ is needed.

We had a delicious late afternoon meal in Hitchin, staff were attentive, courteous and polite. They had full knowledge of the menu and the specials. Food as always was excellent. Highly recommend the date and ginger pudding.
