   Lynda’s has one of the best locations of any restaurant in Ponte Vedra or St Augustine. Dining beachside, enjoying a cool sea breeze is spectacular. Food was great and speciality drinks were amazing.

   I was quite disappointed in the drinks and food. The waitress did try to fix the margarita because the bartender did not know how to make one, so she did it herself. The risotto was not cooked properly, and my dessert was just ok. My husband said his steak was very good, but mash potatoes did not taste fresh. We will not go back plenty of other options for the price.

   Service was very slow. We waited 20 minutes after being sat for someone to greet us. Then another 15 minutes for our drink order to come. We asked for bread twice and waited 15 minutes for that to come. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering. Reservation was at 6:45 and we did not get food until 8:15. Terrible service for everyone there. We were not the only ones.

   This was a lovely restaurant. We came here for our Anniversary dinner. They had a card waiting for us ..signed by the staff. That was nice. Maybe a little cookie with the card would have been cute.... Our meal was excellent and the view of the ocean just wonderful. Our waitress was also very good. We'll return again.

   We were seated in the Merritt room. Lighting is bad, glaring ceiling fixture with no ability to dim it. Lighting was like eating in a coffee shop. Sparse decor, needs plants to warm up the atmoshere. Definitely not the sense of fine dining. Menu was decent and prices ok. My dish was supposed to be a cioppino but was more like fruitti de mar. Red sauce was more like a vodka creamy red with pasta was fair with seafood on top. Definitely not a red stew broth with seafood. Calimari was Ok, great breading but chewey (overcooked?) Sommilier was great and attentive 5 star for him. Waitress was very attenetive but clearly not used to fine dining. No bowl to put shells, no sauces au jus or horseradish with prime rib, no parmesean with pasta. All had to be asked for. She was quick to please but these are pretty standard on dishes costing $30 to $55. So the Management needs to step up its game to make this a must go place. This was not a busy night and dishes took a while to come from the kitchen. Overall a 3 star.

   Went here for Mother’s Day dinner. Place was virtually empty wohj only four tables. My food was ok but super salty. My husband and mother n law both got the risotto and it was cold not cooked right and loaded with salt. I never leave a bad review but we’ve had risotto many of times and it was not close. They did offer something else and everything else was ok. Just sub par.

   We chose to eat inside as it was a bit muggy. Unfortunately a very large party was seated next to us and it was a bit annoying. But the service, drinks, appetizers and meals were all very good. Will definitely return!
