                                                          We went to Lýra for New Years Eve! It was a blast! I’ve been there before for drinks only and it’s always amazing drinks and great music. This was my first time actually sitting down and eating and it was splendid great service specially for a busy night! And would def consider doing new years again next year there and even just a great date night spot!

                                                          Poor service and bad food for NYE. We had a 9pm reservation and was not seated until 9:15-ish. Lyra only has a 10min grace period for reservations for their guests, so I expected to be seated on time with a reservation. Then it took another 30min to get our first drinks. The second course was served before the first course, then we had to wait 15min with an empty table to get our third course. My partners 3rd course was served about 5min before mine. The food was not good. The halloumi was simply grilled with very little spices and full herb leaves on the plate. Very underwhelming for the price. The charred octopus was straight burnt to the point of bitter and acrid. The third course with the proteins was decent. Overall very disappointed. I expected more for $400 meal for two people.

                                                          Food was delish. Sarah was an excellent server. So friendly and helpful with decision making and recommendations. We started with the LYRA martini. Yummy. Then shared the grilled octopus. Best we’ve ever had. My husband had the chicken for his entree and I enjoyed the table side branzino. What an amazing overall experience!
