   As always, Mac's does not disappoint. Took one of my longstanding volunteers to lunch to thank her for her years of service and she could not stop raving about her meal. She was absolutely thrilled and very grateful for being "treated" at such a "lovely establishment." Thank you, Mac's for giving her an extra special day!

   Too noisy in the bar area! Would be best not to have tables downstairs other than high tops.

   We had a fabulous Holiday family night out! Food , service and atmosphere were perfect. We had a diner with nut allergy and everyone was knowledgeable and handled the allergy well!

   Usually a fantastic experience, this visit not so much. 1. Service was slower than usual, took awhile to get water, drinks, attention, etc. 2. Appitizers were not hot, barely warm. entree's came out staggered, and again barley hot enough. (Desided not to send back, because again the extend waiting time). 3. Finally and the absolute thing that made this experience not a good one. They sat us under a fan; we asked the hostess if she could turn it down, 20 minutes later we asked the waiter if they could turn it down, a period of time later, I asked the manager if he could turn it down. It is the opioion of the table that they literally turn it up hgher, we ate brunch with jackets on.

    As frequent diner's of Mac's Chophouse and Mac's Raw Bar, we were greatly dissatisfied with this recent visit. We had a reservation for 8:30 and were not sat until 9:00pm. We had made reservations for a standard table, the host team attempted to seat us at a bar table once to expedite our service, which we politely declined, and then took us to our actual table which happened to be another bar top, which we politely refused. Once finally seated at a table, we sat thirsty without even water for another 10 minutes. We were able to put in an order for cocktails they arrived about the same time as our first glass of water 15 minutes after being seated. We quickly realized that one of the drinks was incorrect. No wait staff was around to be seen, so I went to the manager for quick resolution. He did quickly correct the drink. Our appetizer was served, and was great. As we were finishing appetizers, our server was cleaning the table and removed my wife's half full cocktail, placing it on the dirty dishes. I had to tell him that she wasn't finished, as he was offering us more cocktails, meanwhile my water glass was empty again... He then removed my plate which I was actually actively eating from. Our food arrived and we were offered yet another chance to purchase cocktails, while our water glasses were empty... The sides were amazing, however our steak was bland and lacked seasoning compared to previous experiences. Meanwhile, a karaoke experience started up next to us with a group of boisterous men singing songs loudly like "Sweet Caroline" and "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" and went on for 5-6 songs before management asked them stop. I have heard from several family and friends, that they have experienced very poor service at Mac's two Marietta restaurants over the last couple months. I am not sure if they are focused on their new restaurant that is under construction, but improvements at existing locations are needed first before opening another one.
