It has beautiful views of the Gulf and intercostal depending where you sit. Food was really good and they have BOGO on margaritas. It is on the second floor so it has stairs but also has an elevator. The staff was friendly and quickly got the food out. I marked it as a 4 because our server wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer - he got us drinks and we already knew what we wanted to order but he said he needed to come back because he was getting someone’s food. He didn’t come back. Totally forget we were there and we were his table. Tried to take my plate which had 1/2 the meal on it. No offer of to go box until I asked. Then he couldn’t remember what we ordered to add a dessert. Maybe it was an off day. We would still go back.

Sorry but this is NOT authentic Mexican. It was fine, but not what we expected based upon the info stated. We were bummed we picked here instead of another recommendation.

The host and staff were very nice and attentive. Being from Texas, my family and I are hard to please when it comes to authentic Mexican food; so we weren’t impressed; however, I did make the comment to my sister that this would probably be a fun place to sit and have margaritas with chips and salsa/queso on a pretty day.

We visited Mad Beach Cantina for the first time last year and have been looking forward to returning ever since. We love the food, the staff are very friendly and the service is always good. Would definitely recommend and we will probably eat there again before the end of our vacation.

Definitely NOT what you expect from the pictures and descriptions. The place is in the rooftop, DO NOT have elevator, my husband had to carry the stroller -up and down- with the baby in and wet floor without the security needed (a very easy lawsuit), once inside there was NO air conditioning , was raining, just imagine the heat inside. The server was good, she tried her best. I ordered a mojito I upgraded it and it was NOT a mojito at all , then I changed for a beer and was HOT as inside of the place. I ask my food without jalapeños and it was extra jalapeños! Anyway a very bad experience for a very special occasion:( not going back of course! I’m sorry just my honest experience!
