About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Charming
  • Neighbourhood gem
Owned and operated by renowned Chef, Samuel Dominguez. Located right in the heart of Downtown Greenville SC. Come experience our delighted French-Argentinian cuisine with a southern twist! Dinner, you will find White tablecloth fine dining dinner service or come relax and enjoy our casual bistro set lunch and Saturday brunch with us.

For the "hidden gem" thrill seekers and cocktail explorers; Entre Nous is our new, must try speakeasy located just next door to us in the Poinsett Plaza. A 1920's era prohibition vibe sets the scene as soon as you walk in if you're able to get your hands on the secret passcode to open the door. A unique experience aside from Maestro's. Just ask for the code to find our cocktail oasis.

We recently went to the Maestro Bistro in Greenville for the first time to celebrate our Anniversary. It was the perfect spot to enjoy our special occasion! The service was excellent and our meals were amazing! We were very surprised by the complementary dessert served with a candle and Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! Valentino, our server, was friendly and added a special touch making our dinner date extra special. We will be back to dine at the Maestro Bistro again.

My wife and I went for a date. Even though we are long time Greenville residents and consider ourselves foodies, we had never heard of Maestro’s. I mean, we’ve eaten right next door at Nosedive many times. Well, we’ve found our new favorite restaurant in Greenville. The food, service, drinks, atmosphere combined for a truly wonderful dining experience.

We didn't realize it was a holiday brunch only, and wanted to try their vegan menu. We'll come back for it. Good fried potatoes and omelets.

The food at Maestro’s is nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was beautifully crafted, I didn't know cabbage could taste so good. It’s clear the kitchen operates with skill and intention, and the quality of the ingredients truly shines. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the same standard. When we initially reviewed the menu and ordered only drinks, our server appeared visibly perturbed that we didn’t place a food order right away. That set an awkward tone for the rest of the evening. We were never told the specials, some of our dishes arrived late, and overall, the server seemed rushed and disengaged. Her tableside manner felt misaligned with the elevated experience Maestro’s seems to promise. This disconnect between the excellent food and underwhelming service made the evening feel uneven. Maestro’s has the potential to be a top-tier, but the front-of-house experience will need refinement to match the caliber of the kitchen.

I’ll start with saying I’ve been in food and bev my entire life. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and portions were great. A lot of restaurants charge a lot for smaller portions, but it’s good know if you spend money, you get what you pay for in both quality and quantity. The shrimp and lobster pasta, airline chicken, and empanadas were all amazing. The drinks were great too, and the bartender can really make anything you want that’s not on the menu. All in all, we had an amazing time, and loved the atmosphere and experience. We did have one complaint, and that is that we were dressed for the occasion and felt our attire fit the establishment, while about 80% of the crowd look like they were dressed for a dive bar, did not fit the vibe. It sounds pretentious but it would be nice if this place had a dress code. Clientele adds to the ambiance just as much as the decor and to be honest, it did somewhat kill the speakeasy vibe that the owners obviously meticulously crafted.
