Unfortunately the roof was not opened up becUe there was a threat of rain showers when we went and we were not seated in the room with the carousel, so it was like being in any lounge. The food was decent and the service was good, as well, but it was a bit of a letdown for our family

I'm confused as to the quality of service at this location. I came in with friends and we placed our drink orders in. They said "No we don't have this specific cordial" and I'm confused as to why they don't have a Peach Schnapps when it's a popular liqueur that other drinks would have (Green tea shots, sangrias, sex on the beach, Fuzzy navel, etc.) . She catches an attitude about it, but I drop it. Fine, weird that a bar doesn't have a main ingredient of a popular shot (green tea shots are Jameson, peach schnapps and sour mix). My friend orders another drink and that goes fine. We place our food order in. I ask for French toast and home fries. In that order We receive our food. My friends get theirs perfectly fine and I'm only handed my home fries. I tell the server "Hey I'm missing something" and she proceeds to tell me that it's a dessert food and if I wanted to put it in to order now. When did I say I wanted the French toast separate from all of our my friends' food? I never said I wanted it to be after. The waitress didn't even tell me she was going to put it in separate. I was a-taken back by this assumption, as I am a server/bartender myself, but I always ask my guests if they want their food separate, altogether, coursed out. It felt as a petty way to get "back at me" for the questioning of spirits at the bar The table over with the same waitress got the French toast and eggs together. What was different between me placing my order with my friends and being told "oh it's a dessert kind of meal" and the table next to us? Lack of quality service. Offended by this interaction

Great vibe. Unfortunately they forgot some of our food. It also didn’t help being seated next to another table that featured a boss-level Karen.

Overall experience was good. Food was good with taste. There was an await however for cocktails and a miss on who ordered what. One server with half a rooftop of service

So we reserved seating a few days prior to visiting New York, having been to Magic Hour before. Upon arriving we were put in a fantastic table by the kitchen with amazing views that were similar to ones you’d see at a Chili’s in Omaha, Nebraska. Kind of defeats the point of being on a rooftop in Manhattan. The esthetics were fun in the flower room with the bench carousel. Mind you this would have been great if it wasn’t for the small army of girls attending a sweet 16. What a treat. When we asked to be reseated, the waitress said there was nothing available. So we ordered. I asked for a cocktail called low energy, which has Red Bull in it. So 25 minutes goes by, I finally wave the waitress down and she says they were out of Watermelon Red Bull, what else can I get you? Honestly I don’t care what’s in the drink, at least give me the heads up so I can order something else or take the elevator back downstairs and buy the restaurant a 6 pack of them. So then we finally got our food, probably some of the best microwaved chicken tenders I’ve had in my life. Same quality as a gas station in Gary, Indiana? Debatable. But I’m no food expert. Upon leaving the group I was with wanted to go see the rooftop section to the left, which looks out towards the Empire State Building, go figure, there’s roughly 5 people out there. I asked the bartender out there if it was busy out here for the last hour or two. He says “no, would you guys like a seat, I can get you a waiter? So that was fun to hear. Overall pretty disappointed in most aspects.

This was the first meal we had when we touched down in New York. There are two sides to the rooftop bar. One is an open side that gives you a great view of the Empire State building. Well, the other one is like a fairytale with large flowers and colorful Decor. We got the French toast, which was absolutely amazing. Perfect to share between two people. And two little lobster sliders. We almost finished everything, but there was just a little bit of the French toast left. Totally worth it!

The roof top looked very pretty with the flowers and the carousel but when we sat down that’s where it ended! The drinks were extortionate. Very limited menu .. $19 for a few chicken strips!! Really disappointed! You could only see the view if you were stood up but hard to do that when the tables round the edge were taken. It was a treat for our daughters for their 18th birthday but it sadly wasn’t worth it apart from the pictures of the carousel! It’s a shame because if they offered a more varied menu for brunch and also offered good coffee and soft drinks it would have been a fun place to be.

First of all, the hostess sat me in a dark corner where I couldn’t see a thing. Secondly, my waitress didn’t understand nor speak great English, which clearly doesn’t help. Food and drink were good though. Thank the Lord the manager was very good at her job and was the only saving grace throughout my evening. Will ask for her again because it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly without her! Thanks Allie and I’ll see you the next time I’m around!
