   Review of restaurant My wife and I came here hoping to have fine dining. The first thing that struck us is a separate limited menu on Sunday to Tuesday. I suppose that that was my mistake for not looking online at the difference in the menus, but it never occurred to me that there would be different menu at this type of place. There might be 10 reasons for this, but in my opinion a restaurant offering the appearance of fine dining should be closed if they can't offer their full range of offerings, such as the hotel we left to come here. When the server came we noticed paper napkins. For a place like this, I would have expected cloth napkins. Our server took our drink orders, then later on took our order for food, then we received our appetizer, and then we finally received our cocktails, after about 20 minutes. I wasn't specific about a bourbon for my old fashioned. So I expected the house brand. Looking at the bill, it was a whiskey, not bourbon. When my drink came it looked like it was from a college bar and with a maraschino cherry instead of a luxardo cherry. Our waters came in a plastic Pepsi cup! I have pics but can't find a way to post it After all this, I should mention the food. The shrimp cocktail was pretty good though a little harsh on the horseradish. My wife's steak was thinner than I expected though large enough and properly cooked and delicious. After all this, I don't get the price point of this place. This was not a fine dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant though it would not take too much to make it really good.

   Absolutely love this restaurant! I try to eat here every time I am here! Great crab cakes and pasta! Highly recommend this restaurant!

   Not a good experience. Not as advertised. All the promotions show fine dining. White table cloth. Top shelf menu. This was all washed down for some reason. Limited menu. No fine dining at all. Our server Jazz did her best. The food tasted fine. But made my wife and I sick overnight. Maybe something less than fresh going on??? Very disappointing. Not sure what’s going on. (Even the hotel seem led a it run down and lacking in a professional quality product and service?

   Overall because of the waitress we enjoyed the atmosphere of the Magnolia House food over priced I have had better being this was advertised as fine dining

   Service wasn’t good. Gave us different menus and couldn’t figure out which ones to use. They had raised all the prices since the other restaurant was closed for remodeling. Service was slow. Portions were small especially on my wedge salad. Entrees were mainly french fries. Took him 20 minutes to figure out my Celebration check after I ordered a dessert to go. Definitely not the fine dining I thought Magnolia House was supposed to be.

   We thought it would be an upscale restaurant. No tablecloth, condiments were on the table, but the food was very good. We arrived on time for our reservation. The restaurant was busy and plenty of servers. We ordered our food and waited an hour for it to be served. When I asked why the delay in getting the order. The response was that they overlooked it on the counter.

    We had filets , they were very good Service was good, not the friendliest folks We had the fixed valentine menu it was $170 per couple, so Prices are high Ambience was good, Separate rooms help keep some privacy and keeps the noise down, but all tables are in the open no booths for privacy Overall it was an enjoyable experience
