    Our dinner here this past evening was so enjoyable. We each had a cocktail, a margarita and a shark bite. Then the most delicious calamari I have ever eaten. The catch of the day was snapper serves with kaboucha purée broccolini and rainbow carrots. Since it was my birthday, Melody serves me an ice cream with a candle on top. Everything was so tasty.

    My new favorite restaurant in Lahaina! From the waves right outside to the friendly service like you’ve been there a hundred times before…. I’d go again and again. The food is fantastic, super fresh ingredients with outstanding flavor.

    We had a wonderful lunch at Mala yesterday. We had a window table with a view of the water. All of the staff were incredibly nice. Our server provided us with great recommendations. The mango mimosa was delicious and a deal at $6. My chiliquilles were delicious and the portion was quite large. They definitely had a bit of a kick to them. My husband really enjoyed his Ono fish sandwich too. We definitely recommend Mala!

    We had a delicious dinner. Each of us ordered a different entree and they were all so yummy. My scallops were cooked perfectly and the braised pork shank was incredibly tender. The Mai Tais with POG foam are my favorite on Maui.

    Our food was very tasty. My husband had the catch of the day and he raved about it. Carlos mentioned they also had an off-menu item, Grilled Shrimp Pesto Pasta. Pasta was so fresh and it tasted amazing. Smashed Caesar salad was wonderful as was the coconut shrimp. We had a wonderful 42nd anniversary dinner. Can’t thank you enough. Carlos, our waiter, was nothing short of perfect! A beautiful evening, thank you!

    Mala Ocean Tavern is one of my favorite restaurants while visiting Maui. The vibe is great, the food is creative and outstanding! Drinks were great, the Mai tai is perfection. My favorite appetizer is the ahi bruschetta, undeniably delicious! We shared the scallops and risotto entree and it was excellent! Topping the whole experience off was excellent service my our waiter, Joe…. And the absolutely beautiful and undoubtedly memorable sunset views of Lahaina harbor. Another truly amazing dining experience at Mala Ocean Tavern!
