    Mala is a gem, right on the water in Lahaina. Tables are available both inside and on the water's edge deck. Food is always excellent. It is not a huge menu but has a nice selection of both seafood and meats. All of this and a very good selection of wines makes this a must do every time we come to Maui.

    Dine here every year and never disappointed. Service friendly and prompt. Food well seasoned and served warm. We e been lucky the past few time and seated out by the water but also inside seating if preferred.

    So I give a lot of 5 star reviews. But the reason is that we are VERY picky about restaurants, and we only return to places that we consider to be excellent, and worth the price. Mala is one of those restaurants, and has been for many years. Well managed; exceptional, flavorful, fresh food; wonderful drinks; and attentive service. We came for brunch, and everyone’s meal was terrific. Our server was perfect. You just can’t go wrong here.
