    Mala used to be one of the best restaurants on Maui. If our dinner tonight was any indication, it's now one of the worst. Didn't like the Mai Tais at all. I had the scallops risotto. So so. My wife had a Caesar salad with fish. The salad was pathetic. Just some chopped romaine and not a good dressing. And the prices are some of the highest on the island. eared scallops risotto was $61! Sad to see Lahaina starting to recover but Mala definitely not at all what is used to be.

    Big thanks to Jose for helping when food spilled on my dress. He was a great waiter and made sure my partner and I had an amazing meal. The ukulele singer had great energy too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

    Mai Tai is best on Maui Calamari is outstanding. Good portion. WAGU burger was large enough for us to share. Highly recommend.

    As always, it was wonderful to be at Mala Tavern. Beautiful setting, nice ocean breeze. Great brunch/lunch choices. Our food was delicious and service was lovely. We will be there twice more on this 3 week visit. Mala Tavern never disappoints.

    We had a nice meal. The server was very good, once he settled down a little. Initially, he was trying too hard to get us to order and so forth. We both enjoyed our food and drinks. I was sad that the bruschetta app is now down to one TINY piece for 21.00 That is not fair or reasonable.

    We went to Mala for brunch. It's fantastic. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. We had the pancakes and the Mala steak breakfast. These are two of our favorites and not to be missed.
