   Food and drinks were very enjoyable. The table side Caesar salad was fun to watch her make and it was very good. We’ve been here many times before, and Mamma Silvia’s is consistently good.

   My wife and my experience at Mamma Silvia's Italian Kitchen was very good. The food was wonderful and all the employees were very nice and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

   The only issue I had was not being able to read the menu. It was dark at our table and I finally placed the menu in some light. The fonts were difficult to read also.

   They were out of the two (out of four to choose from) appetizers we were interested in but they were out of both so we opted for the pasta fagoili, a thick bean soup that was oily rather than thick and was mostly absent of beans. I ordered the bass which was soaked in olive oil so much so that the texture of the fish was like paste. I couldn't finish it. My wife had a chicken dish that was tasty but dry. On the up side, Dan was a good waiter.

   The overall is slipping a bit. There are some new staff that are working to get up to speed. We sat for about 15-20 minutes before we ordered and ordered wine and they attemped to deliver it to a different table. That was corrected overall service was slow, food was good. For a $200 bill for 3 people I expect better service. Every one complained about the chairs, hard bottom and very uncomfortable. Everything here needs a bit of an upgrade.

   We are from Phoenix. We had dinner here Friday and came back again after the wonderful meal Friday. The food was fantastic both days. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli with scallops and raved about it. I had the carbonara. Made the Italian way. With eggs and cheese. No cream like many restaurants. Today I had the linguine with clams. Again it was fantastic. This restaurant is well worth the visit. The service also was above and beyond.

   Great service and excellent food. No bar tenders but them made it work from neighboring sister restaurant.

    Second time there in as many weeks. We enjoy the food, last night our service was not up to par. The table next to us had a fantastic waiter but our waitress was hard to track down. We had to ask other staff for things, she rushed us when we had questions about items on the menu. To be fair she was nice and was also trying to bartend. Ravioli was good but could’ve used more of it. Paglia e fieno was a hearty family cooking type meal. Would go back again.
