   Great food, amazing service, tasty mocktails! Penne Primavera was on point as well as the muscles and mozzarella sticks! Mochi balls made for a great dessert after!

   Best dinner I’ve had at any restaurant in Durango since covid, maybe longer. Excellent food!! Well staffed. Clean. And they didn’t push out the door at 8 pm or tell us we were staying too long at our table… as several other local restaurants have done. Thank you, Mama Silvia’s, for an outstanding experience!

   Lasagna was excellent and lobster ravioli was superb. Forgot my calamari so we canceled. Crusty bread was on point. Hot tea hit the spot and espresso martini was good.

   We chose Mama Silvia's for a double birthday party and had a 6 person party. We had our heart set on Beef Carpaccio for an appetizer. Upon ordering, we were told that they were no longer serving beef but ahi tuna. Ok, we like tuna. Our order got messed up and our appetizer arrived just as the others were finishing theirs. Our tuna was frozen. We had assumed since the sushi restaurant is next door, the tuna would be fresh. That was disappointing but was removed from out bill. After thoroughly questioning our waiter on the seafood options, I settled on the lobster and pasta special. I was told that a 1 1/2 pound fresh lobster would be served on a bed of pasta. That is not what I received. What I got was a pile of pasta on a lobster shell. It was very difficult to navigate the lobster tail with sauce all over it. There was very little lobster meat and an incredible amount of lobster shell in my pasta, so I decided to box the whole thing up and bring it home. Maybe in the low light I wasn't able to see the lobster meat. Not so. Very disappointing to say the least. Overall, the staff was friendly and the setting cozy but the food disappointing.
