   Amazing staff. It really shows that you only hire the best in a professional role. Money well spent specially, our server, Halee. She really knows her stuff hear at this location. She had nothing but good recommendations we had a hard time choosing we literally wanted it all. Halee is a great asset to Mama Cafe established. Food was so good I can’t wait to try the fried green tomatoes. Thank you for providing a great experience with the food and amazing service. We will definitely be back.

   Great service by Mira. We had the gumbo (huge bowl) and grilled shrimp. The gumbo was excellent! The shrimp was a little too salty. Vegetable medley and the mashed potatoes were tasty. We will return!

   The food, and service at Mama Margie's on Nacogdoches, is never a disappointment. Especially appreciate, their rewards program. Their chocolate cake, is a taste of heaven, and is superior to any dessert at any restaurant. So grateful, they now accept reservations.

   Had to track down host after ten minutes at the table to ask for drinks. Waiter only came by the table once. manager and another food runner brought the food. Food was over cooked and not like the first time we went in the fall. Should have let the manager know, jut we just wanted to leave. Waiter did not deserve a tip, but being a former server we left enough to cover tip out.

   We took advantage of the Social Hour menu to get 40% off Mama's Famous Fried Mushrooms and the Tuesday special of half price liver and onions and both were were very good. We topped dinner off with the Cherry Cobbler for an excellent early dinner.
