We were a little late due to traffic, but we were seated right away. Food prices were in line with the neighborhood. The beef tartar was a good appetizer, but we found the mushroom risotto to be a bit bland. I had the roasted chicken, which was good. My date had the wagyu steak, which was delicious. We tried the cobbler and bread pudding desserts. I preferred the bread pudding.

Mama’s Kitchen is a total LA/Hollywood experience! The food was excellent, menu choices were eclectic as well as traditional! The ambience was chic and casual. It is pricey, but worth the visit!

The food was good but for some unkown reason the hostess kept on selling us to go to the roof even tho I had specifically told her we wanted to stay inside Also 3 drinks and 3 meals at that portion size for over $200 really didn't seem like value.

Was excited to finally try brunch here. We went early so it was empty. We ordered a side of potatoes didn't come until we were finished with our meal. We declined the potatoes and asked for them to be removed from the bill. Upon receiving the bill, the potatoes were removed as requested but one of our entrees was charged twice, the lobster benedict (the most expensive entree on the menu). Luckily we caught it and the bill was remedied and we were on our way.
