Five elegant dining rooms ( most with views of the city) are tucked throughout an antique brick townhouse overlooking North Square in the heart of Boston's North End neighborhood.

It was very good quality, fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. All of the dishes were good, but nothing stood out as spectacular. The service was friendly - and while no one rushed us to finish, the pace was very fast and did not feel inviting in terms of relaxing to enjoy a longer meal.

Mama Maria is definitely worth the money. High end food and good service. Additionally, we enjoyed the absence of noise and the cozy atmosphere. Great choice for a business dinner, family dinner or just date night

Service and food were great. Handicap accessibility was greatly appreciated. Price points were reasonable. The oysters were huge. The pasta sugo was very good. Our server told us it was spicy but could be adjusted. The duck two ways was fantastic. They gave us pana cotta as we were celebrating the anniversary of our first date 40 yrs ago. Thanks

Reservation got canceled some how on their end, had to wait 45 min after scheduled reservation. Other than that service and food was great!
