    We had to wait approx 10 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. I am not sure where our server was spending his time but it wasn’t with us. The French fries were delicious but the Freebird - we opted out of the bun & used a knife & fork to eat the chicken - even cutting the chicken, we found the chicken to be extremely tough. Had we opted for a bun I don’t know if we could have managed to eat the chicken without cutting it. Despite the “hot sauce” the chicken lacked flavor. As locals, had we not been going to the music festival, we would have sent our meals back. To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement.

    Spinach artichoke dip and nachos appetizers were fantastic and devoured by the kids. Elk Stroganoff and the Freebird Chicken sandwich were very good as our group of 6 went for 3 of each.

    Everything was great…except my Bavette steak, although perfectly prepared, was incredibly tough. I grew up on very tough beef, and this was very tough. It may have been sliced for service with the grain, instead of across. The remainder of both our meals was fine, and the service was very good.

    Loved the steak, but really missing the prime rib they were so known for. PLEASE bring it back on the menu!!!! Emily was fabulous taking care of us. Great decorations and yummy huckleberry cosmo. Terrific!!

    Food was Ok, service was OK. Drink selection was below average. Manager who brought the bottle of wine out was intoxicated. Not really worth coming here in the summer. Stick to town.
