   We read the previous OpenTable reviews in preparation for my stepson’s birthday lunch today. Food was delicious and we do plan on coming back for dinner. Service was VERY SLOW, as previous previews stated. Our very tall female hostess and male waiter both wished my stepson a verbal “happy birthday,” but that was the end of it. There was no singing nor complimentary birthday dessert, we waited quietly and patiently until the end. My nine year old son wanted A1 steak sauce for his steak and eggs, they didn’t have any either. Our salt shaker was empty, so I walked back about 2-3 tables and grabbed one. Husband said the men’s room had no hand soap, when he returned to our curbed dining table. Validated parking was free.

   Honestly not a great experience, we made a reservation for 12:45 didn’t get seated until around 1:10 waited 10 minutes for any server to greet us, food wasn’t worth the price. I don’t think I’d recommend this place or return.

   The portion size was pitiful. The scallops dish (main course) was comprised of 4 lonely scallops. They also now hold the record for the smallest Greek salad I’ve ever seen. Our server was very nice and friendly, but he was so busy running between multiple tables that he had little time for us.

   Went with a group of 7 ladies. Service was amazing and we all enjoyed our lunches. The beet salad was a nice surprise.

   Made a last minute reservation at Mara for a birthday dinner. Not once did any server, etc. acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday occasion. Our server wasn’t very helpful when asking what cocktails were popular. She said “to be honest, I was pregnant most of my employment so I don’t know which cocktails are popular.” Went through ordering and received our food, which was good. When it came to dessert, no mention of birthday celebration, and we ordered dessert. Even when the check came, no mention of celebrating a birthday. Was very disappointed. Went to the restroom, and the women’s restroom was terrible. Two stalls, no toilet paper in both stalls. The handicap stall had a small roll of toilet paper, in the side, only 25% of a roll. The sinks, one sink was stopped up with hand towels, and the other was barely working. Told a person (guy) that that the bathroom needed attention. For a restaurant that has higher cost standards, expected to have a better experience and cleaner restrooms. It was a terrible experience. Don’t think we’ll be back, or recommend to any of my friends. Terrible, and paid a LOT, for the food and drink.

   Everything from start to finish was amazing!! We had the tasting trio, the octopus, the pistachio crusted ahi, the monchong Mediterranean style, and the Brussel sprouts. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor! Impeccable service and great ambiance! We ordered 2 desserts but our favorite was the Greek yogurt with olive oil and salt.....to die for!!!!!!! Can't wait to return!

   The food and the atmosphere was excellent. We had a new waitress and she was very pleasant but not that attentive. Overall, it was a great experience.

   Excellent service and wonderful food. It’s my favorite place to socialize with out of town and local friends and family.

    Our hostess greeted us warmly and took us to a nice window table. Our waiter Keoni made us feel welcome and comfortable. He took care of our order. We were very pleased with our appetizer and entrees. The Mama Mia cocktail was delicious. The cappuccino was very good too.
