   This was our first visit. The food was outstanding, the service was probably the worst we have ever had. We ordered appetizers, then 10 minutes later we were asked if we were ready to order any appetizers. We ordered entrees and half an hour later we were asked if we were ready to order our meals. We said that she already had taken our order and she said “oh yes, that’s right”. Five minutes later, she comes back to ask us again what we had ordered. It took over an hour to receive our entrees. We ordered our salad without cheese and it came out with cheese. We ordered bread and never received it and my second glass of wine took half an hour to get. They weren’t full, or on a wait. The food was absolutely amazing once we received it. The service was no fault of the kitchen. I’d say we would return because the food was so great, but the service was so terrible that I don’t see us returning. We were also overcharged but after being there so long, we just decided to pay and leave.

   It was a holiday so extra noise was expected but one large table was very noisy. Management addressed the situation and was very concerned about our dining experience. We really appreciated their acknowledgment of the situation. We will definitely return as the service and food were excellent.

   Marcello’s was the perfect choice for my husband and me for our anniversary. The staff is very friendly and promptly attentive. The food was delicious and even received a complimentary dessert to celebrate the occasion! We highly recommend the experience.

   The food here was off the charts good...some of the best veal I've ever had. My guests raved about the food as well. The rest of the experience was underwhelming. Instead of a wine list, there is a set of liquor store wire racks at the back of the dining room filled with bottles that you couldn't see without pulling them out of the racks. Our server seemed uncomfortable and awkward. And the enormous party filling the middle of the dining room was so loud we couldn't even hear each other speak. I wanted to like this so much more than I did, but I probably won't be back.

   Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Covington, LA and all of the N. Shore. This is our go to restaurant for when we have special occasions to celebrate. The food is excellent. The cooking fondly reminds me of my original home, the North End of Boston (Little Italy 🇮🇹). Service is always superb. Staff are super welcoming. Good vibes all around. Would highly recommend to all y’all. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

    Amazing food and drinks. Decent price too. Our drinks, appetizers and dinners was very tasty. Staff very friendly. We will definitely he back! Sooooooo good.
