   Best lobster bisque I've ever had, great steak frites but very small piece of meat. Second time I've been here and will go again.

   I had the sea bass, which was perfectly seared and paired with a wonderfully tasteful sauce. My wife had the seafood pasta Bolognese, which she raved about and ate every bite, which is unusual for her. The only weak spot was my wife’s cosmopolitan which they remade and was still rather tasteless. The only weak spot was my wife’s cosmopolitan which they actually remade and was still tasteless. This restaurant is an excellent value and the food is creatively prepared. We will return here and enjoy their food, but just not order cosmopolitan .

   We started with the cucumber gazpacho, which was a perfect and elegant way to begin a meal. Our entrees, veal cheeks for my husband and beef bourguinion for me, were equally delicious. The service and environment enhanced what was a near perfect dining experience. Thank you to the chef and staff for a beautiful way to start a new year!

   Food was carefully prepared and creatively presented. Chef/owner went to several tables and introduced himself and thanked guests . Will definitely return for very enjoyable evening.

   Some of the best food in downtown Sarasota. We ordered several small plates to share and each one was delicious! We loved the Peppered salmon entree. And the scallops so delicate they melted in your mouth. Can’t wait to visit Marcel’s again to try more dishes

    My family loves this restaurant. Any occasion or friends in town we like to go to Marcel. Food is always excellent as is the service.
