   Excellent food! We loved the tempura cauliflower and the beef bourguignon. Service was attentive and efficient. A lovely dining experience and we will be back! Highly recommend.

   A favorite of ours! Excellent service. The menu is outstanding with a great variety. Everything is thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend.

   A truly gourmet meal for a reasonable price. Chris our waiter was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Highly recommended!

   We had a fabulous dinner at Marcel DW on Friday night. We shared the mushroom appetizer, which is always excellent. I then had the peppered salmon, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. And my husband had the beef bourguignon and raved about it. We ended the evening with the banana bread pudding. It was delicious and the flambe made for a fun presentation, but I did taste more of the alcohol than I would have liked. This restaurant is truly a gem. Excellent food in a quiet, elegant environment and the prices are very reasonable.

   Our server Chris was great. The food was excellent. The mushroom appetizer really wonderful. The chef came to greet us and checked on our food. My husband had the steak frites. Steak was done perfectly and fries were very good. I had the chicken paillard which was delicious. Would highly recommend this place. Will definitely return!

   This was a wonderful find. We had octopus, grilled mushrooms and special lobster bisque followed by flank steak and scallop entrees All were prepared perfectly! The icing on the cake was the banana bread pudding and cappuccinos! Will definitely return!

   Four of us were at Marcel for dinner. Each person was totally delighted with their choice of food. Our server was knowledgeable of the offerings and efficient and pleasant Chef Jeremy thanked us for being there and we thanked him for an excellent meal. We will be back soon again!

    Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Sarasota. Kudos to chef Jeremy, kitchen maestro. Kudos to our enthusiastic waiter. Congrats all round for the intimate ambiance and flawless service. We were a party of four and all of us were delighted with our choices. APPETIZERS: Cauliflower tempura, baby beet salad, roasted mushrooms- unique twists on old favorites. MAIN: vegetarian meatballs (raves from our guests), beef bourbuignon (the meat had obviously been slow cooked and was seasoned to perfection), baked sweetbreads (a very happy customer) and for dessert cherry cobbler - served warm with big fat cherries and ice cream. Needless to say... We’ll be back!
