Marea it's a seafood, corn, and mezcal restaurant.
With a menu created by Chef Lula Martín del Campo, who promotes top quality, sustainable, and fair trade seafood, corn dishes that represent Mexican gastronomy, and mezcal, which with its characteristic mysticism is the perfect pairing for any time of day.
Some of the dishes that represent us are Prawns with "esquites ancestrales", Grilled sustainable wild fish, dark fish ceviche, the cold-smoked marlin tiradito, the octopus and grilled cheese taco, and the smoked tuna blackened quesadilla. But this project is not just about food, it also has its contribution of art and design since it was designed by the architect Alberto Kalach making this corner a must-stop for those who enjoy art, good food, and the characteristic lifestyle of Colonia Roma Norte.

This is a great choice for seafood. We couldn't have been happier with our meal or service. AFiah was perfectly prepared and nice choices. Highly recommend. Seems like a friendly neighborhood place. We weren't able to go to Contramar because we were over 10 minutes late due to CDMX traffic, but I can't imagine how much better it could have been other than saying we went there. It was easy to get a table here.

La comida siempre es muy rica. Esta ocasión comimos con diversos tacos y uno fue más sabroso que el otro. A nuestro gusto , destaca el de jaiba suave y el Brisket. El servicio muy profesional y sumamente atento. A regresar muchas veces.

Muy lindo lugar, muy buena comida, el servicio se puede mejor, pasaron 15 minutos hasta que pasaron a ofrecernos de deber, y otros 15 minutos para que nos tomaran la orden para comer. Sin embargo nos gustó mucho ya que no teníamos prisa.

This is my 2nd trip to Mexico City in 6 months and of all the restaurants I have dined at so far, Marea tops them all. The food - ambiance - service - - all are top notch. If you're in the Condesa area make sure to put this restaurant on your list!
