   Very enjoyable dinner. Good food. Extremely good service. The table is a bit small and initially there were a lot of flies. May need to introduce some control. But overall experience is good. Will definitely go again

   There was nothing wrong with the food - it was all well cooked. But none of it was exciting or flavours we had not had many times before. The Asian crab salad for example was a dish we could easily do at home. Our mains were good. But I find just having a piece of fish on a plate a totally incomplete meal. I want a chef who provides a whole meal - where every part of it works together. Having to choose sides which are designed to go with tons of other dishes does not make for a harmonious dish. It feels a little bit lazy. The cheese was probably the biggest disappointment - the washed rind was so bland. And the serving size was so pitiful and felt mean. The wine list was fantastic but it's huge and you need time to look through it and not have your server constantly chase you to choose something - even though we had ordered negronis to start . I noted other reviewers felt rushed and we did too. Our entrees were on the table within three minutes of ordering and so fast our wine was not there. When asking if we could slow it down - it's fine dining not fast food - we were told the kitchen was pumping things out - as if that was a good thing - and it could be slowed down to suit us. A good dining experience is to be savoured. Not rushed but we were made to feel as if we asking for something out of the ordinary. If Margaret wants you to be in and out - drop the prices, reduce the menu size and have a smaller wine list to choose from. We did not leave a tip which is v rare for us and I would not recommend Margaret sadly. There are far more exciting food options out there and lots of other fine dining spots which don't rush you.

   Amazing long lunch for 5 of us. A+ attentive switched on wonderful staff A+ thoughtful cooking to highlight top notch produce (there is a lot of skilled chefs at Margarets to make it seem simple and soooooo delicious) Well done team... I will back and I will recommend to everyone to visit Margarets. Thank you

   As always, service was impeccable and food was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff were fantastic in making the birthday girl feel special - right down to a hand-written note from Neil. Margaret continues to be flawless - and the experience unsurpassed - they deserve all the accolades they receive - no other restaurant comes close to executing the perfect evening.

   We recently celebrated our 61st Wedding Anniversary by dining at Margaret. From the minute we arrived the Evening was just wonderful. The staff very attentative and efficient. The service was impeccable, the presentation of dishes superb and the flavours mouth watering. At no stage did we feel rushed even though there is a two hour window for dining. Would thoroughly recommend and will return again in the not too distant future.

   Staff were welcoming and efficient Staff were knowlegable about specials etc and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was very fresh and enjoyable.
