The Marina Grille offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in the "City by the Sea," only minutes away from downtown Newport. Enjoy breathtaking harbor views while dining dockside.

Goat Island has a long history which includes home to a military fort during the American Revolution, torpedo manufacturing for the US Navy, and more recently serving as host to the Tall Ships Festival and world-class sailing regattas.

The restaurant wasn’t open but took reservations on this app. So we drove to the restaurant to find a pitch black dark lot. Completely ruined dinner plans for the weekend. Incredibly frustrating.

This was our first meal out post-covid 19 closure. Marina Grille did a great job making us feel comfortable and safe during our dinner. My meal (pesto shrimp) was absolutely delicious and the seating next to the water on a beautiful evening was lovely.

It took 90 minutes for our food to come. When it arrived, no one in our party of five thought it was more than possibly acceptable. The waitress was inattentive and bored. Would not go again.

We picked this place for the review of the harbor which a massive boat was blocking. Menu was limited but food was very good. Server (DJ) was very personable.

Beautiful location & the food was good. My mum got the margarita pizza & it was lame for $14. No flavor & mostly sauce. We had a wonderful time & our server was excellent.

Beautiful table on the dock for lunch. The service and location were great. Started with clam chowder which was very good. I had a burger, which was about average. My wife had a grilled chicken wrap which she said was delicious.

Food tasted awful. I never write bad reviews, but paying high prices for food that tasted and/or is frozen, pre-packaged is a scandal. Seafood texture reminded me of buffet line meat/seafood (you know the ones we all avoid). I am not sure anything is homemade. You are better off buying your own pre-made salad at Stop-N-shop, at least the quality matches the price.

The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress was great!! We were very spread apart because of COVID which was nice. I ordered a margarita ($12) and for that price, I’d expect it to be strong. It was very watered down. A bit pricey but overall a great experience!
