   Scallops were delicious, goats cheese mousse was lovely but very filling, venison, chicken, beefburger and monk fish all delicious. Breakfast offering was outstanding, everything available that you could possibly wish for

   A first visit with some knowledge from friends. Not our usual type of location but having been blessed with a glorious few days of weather it proved to be an extremely enjoyable few days. There would be a temptation to score 9/9.5 out of 10 but there were a few minor aspects of our stay a note of which I left with reception on our departure. i appreciate you cannot please all your guests but have 2 other comments as to our dining experience the first would be the furnishings were not particulatly comfortable for 2 fairly elderly guests. and secondly the service was fine on first morning but today not quite so , I would admit I am rather fussy with my cooked breakfast choices in particular scrambled egg and much of it was returned to the kitchen. So as I had said we overall very much enjoyed having taken the opportunity to venture to something quite different.

   A good experience excellent food at reasonable price service relatively good. Found the seating to be on the uncomfortable side

   Party of 3 couples stayed at weekend. Had a lovely time. Spa was great with a warm outdoor pool. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. No complaints from any of our party !!
