   Excellent pastas, carbonara was really flavorful and the pesto was excellent too. Our pizza was pretty good, not a fan of the dense crust, it was ok. Not a fan of Italian places that don’t serve any complimentary bread to start. Restaurants are so expensive nowadays and Marini’s isn’t cheap either. Paying these prices it would be nice to get some bread/olive oil at places like this. Overall, good food, good service. I wish restaurants like this were just more affordable.

   Quickly becoming our favorite Italian place in north Scottsdale! Some servers are better than others. The menu and food is second to none!

   First time eating at Marinos and we’ll definitely be back. Everything we ordered was delicious and portions were generous. Our group shared two salads the Cesar and wedge. The entrées were chicken Alfredo, vodka chicken Parmesan, short ribs served on polenta (which were outstanding), and meat pizza. The crust was more like a hand tossed. The place has a cool vibe and great outdoor eating area. The bar is cool.

   The best of the three meals we had was the sea bass. It was melt in your mouth and flavor was amazing. The combination of vegetables and herbs was interesting and made the experience. And presentation was also well done. The bolognese pasta was also very flavorful and my friend enjoyed it a great deal. I had the Caesar salad, which was very good. The pesto tortellini left me looking for a different dish. It promised more flavor than it delivered. But the pasta was cooked well and serving generous. I did wish I’d gotten the sea bass or fettuccini. The lemon cake was light like a mousse, teased with the flavor, and excellent. We all loved it. Our server, Marie, was excellent. Attentive without being overly so, and somewhat helpful with the menu. Just wish she’d been more outright about the pesto. It provided a lovely setting for friends celebrating one birthday as well as Christmas. It

   Very upbeat fun place to have dinner. Indoor outdoor restaurant with indoor outdoor bar. Food was good and there’s a nice wine list. Service was also quite good. I will return and I recommend.

    First time at this restaurant would easily go back again. Food was great and the atmosphere was very, very nice. Nice to go to a dinner place. We could actually have conversations and not have a too loud.
