   Great food, great service. The outdoor patio death in was very comfortable. Would definitely eat here again.

   Okay, I had a reservation for 8:45 PM on Valentine’s Day at Marino’s Italian through OpenTable and got there 10 minutes late. We went to the hostess and informed them of my reservation. I don’t even think they looked it up because we had to wait outside for nearly an HOUR to get seated. Then, when we were seated, they gave us the wrong menus, no silverware, no bubbles, and no decor—even though I booked the $140 Valentine’s Day Special. When we brought it to their attention, they took our menus and brought new ones… which included another wrong menu and one correct menu finally. YIPPEE. Our waitress also made rude comments about her last customers to us??? Like, what??? So unfortunately, after deciding there was no fathomable way I was paying 140+ for that kind a service, we left. What the hell, guys? Honestly.

   Because we went on Valentine’s Day, I realize that it’s not your typical dining experience. We had a reservation for 7 PM for four people. Our server told us from the beginning that it was going to be a very slow night so we were prepared. He was great. But we did not get our entrées till around 9 o’clock. I understand that they were overwhelmed on Valentine’s Day, but there is still a way to take the capacity you need to take to still have good service. I loved my food, two of the four people did not love their food.

   We have eaten here several times, and it is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. So, the Valentine's Day dinner deal was attractive. We found the service to be excellent as usual, and the drinks, appetizers, and desserts tasted great. But the main courses seemed lacking in flavor and were lukewarm when served. Overall, this dinner deal was not worth the price ($70/person).

   Marie was absolutely exceptional! We loved her service, humor and care to our dining experience. We’ll definitely be back because of her! The food was outstanding as well — a new fav Italian spot.

   Our food and service was outstanding, I highly recommend this restaurant, you can certainly do casual, we dressed up a little bit. The area is a vibrant area so plenty to do before or after dinner!

    The food was delicious. The service was not great on what was admittedly a busy night. The waiter was outright rude to my vegan friend and uncooperative, telling her she was “s.o.l”.!!!! We had called ahead to double check there would be options for her and there were few. He kept directing her to gluten free options, clearly not understanding the difference and not caring to try. The silverware was less than clean, we were seated near the door (it was cold) and despite asking immediately to be reseated, they wouldn’t accommodate, nor keep the door closed as promised. The coffee was COLD. Any request to fix issues was met with eye rolls and snide comments. It was truly an unbelievable reaction from the one waiter. Note not ALL staff had that attitude. This place needs more staff, more training and better support to match their great menu and chef/kitchen
