Fabulous dinner. Scallops were so fresh and perfectly grilled. The burrata starter was perfect and I will need to be back so we can have again! Service by Max was excellent.

We visited Marisi for the first time last week and will definitely try it again. It is a very attractive, lively place but our first impression soured when we were told that the indoor table we reserved would not be ready for a very long time, and we would have to take a less desirable one. We were seated in the bar which turned out to be ok since it was a slower night there but it wasn't a good start. Our waiter, Roberto, was excellent -- always checking in at key times, and there was plenty of additional staff to deliver food and drinks, clear used plates and generally make you feel well cared for. The burrata appetizer and the short rib pasta were extraordinary. Less amazing was the highly recommended little gem caesar salad ( dressing too strong and homemade croutons hard as rocks) and spaghetti carbonara (too heavy). I started off with a Bellini which was ok, and my husband had the restaurant's own beer which he liked very much. Some hits and misses-- we will give it another chance if only to have the burrata and short rib dishes again!

Great Food and great service. I was surprised by the beef carpaccio because last time I got it. It was wonderful and this time it was very spicy.

New years at Marisi was extraordinary! The service,food, speciality drinks all above my expectations and especially the desserts. I love the whole chicken and the new chopped salad, but I had to also have the Rigatoni that’s my go to every time. If your looking for for a really nice night out, Marisi is the my favorite!

Fabulous food, great service and beautiful restaurant. The noise level, though was extremely loud!!! However, we will be back ! This is now officially our favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego now for sure.

varied menu with lots of good choices, Caesar salad was excellent, 2 pastas we tried were both delicious. as were the fish and scallops we had as mains. Service was excellent
