Market Bistro will open from 11.30am 7 days a week, offering a classic “bistro style” menu featuring house made pasta, and a great selection of dry aged meats and a bunch of export quality local seafood.

Our wine list will be interesting, constantly evolving and feature predominantly Australian and New Zealand producers.

A unique feature of the Bistro is the fact you can walk into & purchase wine from the Wine Store for retail prices then drink it in the Bistro (for a small corkage fee.)

Market Bistro will be a stylish, casual restaurant that is not stuffy or pretentious... It is professional, casual & truly local.

Friday and Saturday evenings are a minimum of three courses with all other times an option of two or three courses.     The Hervey Bay scallops were outstanding. Overall the food was delicious however my 5 star rating goes to the gorgeous girl who looked after our table (and whose name I'm sorry I don't know) who was helpful but not intrusive and had a lovely manner.
