   Walked in after hearing about the new hype of the business and food. Booked for Valentine's Day dinner with my partner, walked in to see the newly refurbished pub and felt like we were in for a very anticipated treat. Service at the bar was great, friendly staff. Sat at our table and looked upon the menu with high expectations! Ordered our food at table B9. My partner whom was very excited ordered the "spicy" butter chicken. This came out prior to the entrees and was stone cold, and had little to no heat at all, rice undercooked. Disappointing to say the least. Then came out the aranchini balls which were burnt. Followed by my fish and chips, good looking plate as it came toward the table. Although What a let down.. chips so hard that I could barely eat them - well over cooked. Cut into my fish and had a pool of oil soak my plate at least half a cup worth of fryer oil seeping out. Soggy and not enjoyable, no salad dressing and not even 2 bites into the meal and could eat no more. Then 10 minutes later the chicken bites came out and also soggy and covered with way too much sauce to even try taste the chicken. Called over a staff member, and even he was dumbfounded by the amount of oil from my fish, left in my plate. Although he wasn't shocked at the reviews of the other menu items on our table, was almost like he knew what we were going to say... $96.80 for 2 starters and 2 mains, not a single one was remotely enjoyable. Absolute let down! Thinking we would be offered a refund or at the VERY least have our meals remade with fresh ones, the young man said "sorry about that, are you sticking around for drinks afterwards" and walked away. Absolutely appalling!! I will never dine in at this establishment again, for the life of me I would never recommend the market hotel to any friends or family, and I wouldn't even consider my worst enemy to share the load in our experience last night. Not good enough guys, I want my money back. Disgusting!!

   Beer garden has great vibes, the food is great and the staff are amazing. A huge sandpit out the back for kids and the renno on the inside is great too.

   Ordered rare steak and got medium, partners meal come out 5-10 minutes later. Hot with not air conditioning on 30 plus day.

   A great night with friends in the Beer Garden. Lovely setting with capable, attentive staff. Food great, service and ambience, sadly no live music though.

   Great meal in lovely dining room - staff excellent Bar very noisy with all polished boards. Would be nice to be able to sit at the bar

   Loved the improved look of the Market hotel. The food was great. Service was excellent. I will definitely go back again

   The time to bring out our entrée was way too long when it only takes five minutes to cook if prior prepared Drinks extremely expensive for on tap

    8 out of 9 of our meals were nice, sadly to say one order of chicken snitch meals was not properly cooked, and there was not even an offer not pay for this meal We were in the dinning room area so out of sight so felt the service I am sorry to say was very poor, only got 1 offer for drinks and no one returned to discuss desert. The other thing that disappointed me was other than instant coffee there was no other other option,. I know they were very busy but sadly to say was disappointed and not sure I would ever go back
