Made some changes to the menu but everything was great. My wife loved the old tuna dinner and was upset to see it gone. Tried the new selection and loved it. I tried a special and it was great. Service was also great.

Great options and amazing service. Shannon was our waitress, she was extremely attentive, which was no easy feat since it was a busy Saturday night there. We had the special whipped ricotta with grilled focaccia which was outstanding. The skirt steak special with blistered tomatoes, excellent. Our go-to is the sweet and spicy chicken bowl which as usual, did not disappoint.

We celebrated a belated Mother’s Day dinner and it was fabulous. Food was delicious and our waitress ( Jess) was lovely . The restaurant was hopping and our server was very attentive. Loved the evening!

This was my first visit for their Sunday Brunch. It was Mother’s Day which is typically trying for restaurants. The service was a little slower than usual but expected. The food was great-deviled eggs appetizer and filet mignon Oscar cooked perfectly, and sitting outside on the patio after a week of rain was divine. Don’t miss the ‘mimosa bar’ on the brunch menu. A bottle of Prosecco and choice of two juices is a bargain at $35.

We have gone to Market Place in Danbury for years and have had good experiences. We recently returned after not going there for 6 months and were very disappointed specifically with the quality of the food. We had ordered the Brussel Sprouts special for a hefty price and the sprouts were burned to a crisp, cold and very, very dry. The burrata which was semi balanced on top of the pile of burnt brussel sprouts was dried out on the edges and inside. The server was very accommodating when we flagged him down and said it was probably left in the oven too long and he would bring a fresh order immediately. Literally 2 minutes later, a server brought a "new" plate of brussel sprouts which were in the exact same condition as what we had just sent back (it appeared to be the same plate of brussel sprouts with a new burrata on top). We ended up not eating them. The chicken bowl and the tuna bowl were average - mostly sticky rice and the small amount of avocado that had turned brown. Not very appetizing. We ate some of it, brought the rest home and threw out the left overs the next day. We typically will give a restaurant a break for a bad meal and let it go, but the way they handled the appetizer, in principle, was awful and we won't go back there again.

Absolutely outstanding. Food was amazing and the service is incredible .. The restaurant is fortunate to have Matt, the manager. He spent time at our table and made sure we had the best experience ., highly recommend .. you won’t be disappointed .., we look forward to many visits back ..
