At Marlow we specialize in artisan style, neapolitan sourdough pizza, as well as locally sourced meats and vegetables. Our menu, space, and offerings change seasonally. We aim to bring you modern yet rustic meals to be shared. Chef/Owner Jeff Scheer and wife Kaili, have always loved to entertain at their home in Kula. The concept for the restaurant is an extension of that warm hospitality felt while sharing good food and wine around a table of family and friends. When the restaurant industry shut down in March of 2020, the pair began making sourdough pizza out of their outdoor oven at home. Milling whole wheat berries from a farm in Arizona, hand stretching mozzarella, whole-animal butchery, growing artichokes and summer squash for toppings - it was a true labor of love. What began as a ritual has grown into a restaurant. We look forward to seeing you at Marlow soon.

Executive chef: Jeff Scheer

From the OpenTable editors: Chef Jeff Scheer and his family started slinging sourdough pizza out of their backyard during the pandemic, before opening their first restaurant. Locals keep coming back for the simply excellent Neapolitan-style pies, fresh pappardelle, and woodfired veggies, all a labour of love that earned Scheer a James Beard nom for Best Chef in the region. It’s an open pizza kitchen decked out in black tiles and white marble, so you can watch the pies shuttling into the oven.

We had such a nice meal at Marlow. The salad was so delicious and fresh, and the two pizzas we ordered were so tasty. Decent selection of wine as well, and the ginger beer my husband had was a big hit. Service was prompt and very friendly. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Really, really great.

Absolutely fabulous meal. The octopus salad, fungi (white) and fried pork (red) pizza were so comforting to eat/share for our party of 3. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gelato and the olive oil cake for desert. The service was also perfect. Thumbs up!

Pizza is excellent. We ordered lots of food as we wanted to try so many dishes. We also wanted to take some pizza home with us. Delicious. The warm octopus salad was delicious.

Very cool space. Friendly service. Great food --we had the octupus salad and the special pappardelle. Gelato for dessert. Only two small misses. They were out of the warm olives and they don't serve espresso at dinner (it's an Italian restaurant, you need to keep your espresso machine going!)

Marlow's has been great from Day 1, and they continue to get better as they carefully expand their menu. We go there quite regularly and take our friends as well. Their salads are always fresh, and their pizza crust is outstanding! Thin except a little more at edge to make a nice substantial rim. Red sauce is perfectly balanced. Great wine selection by the glass, as well fun and interesting cocktails. We highly recommend it!I I can't wait to try their new smashed potatoes!
