Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Maroun Mediterranean Grill offers "delicious and nutritious" Lebanese cuisine, making it a favorite for theater-goers. Patrons rave about the "wonderful food" and "friendly staff," with generous portions perfect for sharing. While service can be slow on busy nights, the "attentive service" and proximity to McCaw Hall make it a convenient pre-show choice.

Wonderful food, good size portions. Excellent before PNB performances and Kraken games.

We had a large group (10) for dinner before an event at Climate Pledge. Our number changed a couple times but they accommodated us. The restaurant moved our time to 4:00 from 5:00 but it turned out to be a good idea. We were able to chat, have drinks and appetizers, and a leisurely meal. It was then a short walk to the arena with plenty of time to enjoy each others company. The food was very tasty and the service was outstanding!

We had a very nice server who was attentive to our needs, but it didn't make up for the poor quality of the food. The baba ganoush was tasty, but the pita served with it was dry, tough, and tasteless. The glass of wine I ordered had clearly been opened some time before - sour and unpleasant. I ordered the spanakopita and it was inedible. It was greasy and the spinach filling was disgusting. My companion's entree wasn't bad - a huge plate of rice with seasoned chicken perched on top. It at least was edible. I won't be returning - ever.

We were in a hurry unfortunately to eat and run and the server was very understanding and went above and beyond to get our food and check quickly!

The food was fine, but the kitchen service was not. We ordered appetizers, but their arrival at the table (quite slow) delayed our main course until just 10 minutes before we had to leave for a performance. If you do go to this restaurant, unless you have two hours (we had an hour and a half), do not order a first course, just order the main course. We spent much of our time there waiting...waiting...waiting anxiously for our meal to come.

Maroun is one of the best restaurants near McCaw Hall. It's family owned and the food is delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Baba Ghanoush and pita. The lamb dishes were very good...next time I'll try the chicken!

Maroun has an online menu that does not reflect the Dine In menu. It would behoove them to update the online menu. Soup and pita is not served with each entree. No prawns available. Shish Twook was favorable. Hummus was nice.

Loved the experience, but wish they would take more than one credit card for a group of nine people. When I called on the phone, they told me they could do it, but that evening they said they would not.

Celebrated our 41 yr. wedding anniversary at Maroun Mediterranean Grill. Despite the rain outside, we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at Maroun. Great Lebenese cooking, I tried the Kabob combo to get a taste of all the Kabob's offered, chicken/lamb/ ground beef. All the meat was cooked to perfection and spiced correctly, with grilled onion/tomatoes in a bed of rice. My wife chose the Kafta Kabob which she enjoyed immensely. We have made Maroun our 'to-go' place for mediterranean food. Be sure you reserve well ahead of your visit.
