   We love the Masons Arms. They are so helpful and accommodating to seat us with our 93 yr old mother who can’t climb steps. The food has always been excellent with good choices. The staff are efficient and friendly. We love the atmosphere in the bar especially.

   What a fabulous lunch and to our surprise turkey and Christmas pudding on the specials lunch menu - what a treat. The service is always good despite how busy they are.

   Great evening with our friends for dinner. This is the 3rd time we’ve eaten here with these particular friends and we’ve been unable to fault anything. The pub is immaculate, the food was fantastic as always and the staff very friendly. It was quite loud on this particular evening as there was a large group of men on a Christmas party, we didn’t mind this at all and the staff must have thought ahead and seated us in one of the little snug areas.

   We recently visited your establishment for a Christmas lunch and while the food was excellent, the service left much to be desired. Our group of six experienced significant delays in service, requiring us to go to the bar multiple times to request a server for drink refills and to place food orders. This gave us the impression that we had been overlooked. We understand the staff were handling a large party of approximately 20 guests at the same time. However, as we explained, our group consisted of factory staff fitting in a meal during a limited lunch break, while the larger group appeared to have more flexible timing. It would have been helpful to know in advance that our booking coincided with a large party, as this would have allowed us to choose another day or venue. While we prefer to support local businesses, the delays significantly impacted our experience and the enjoyment of our event. Thank you for considering this feedback — we hope it helps improve service during busy periods.

   The food in this pub is really good. I have never been disappointed. But todays roast was superb. It was busy in the pub and yet the meal had not been 'churned' out as so many pubs do. The Yorkshire pudding was home made and freshly baked and was delicious, such a treat from the usual package versions you get. The chicken was succulent with some fabulous vegetables and plenty of gravy too. My father had a very generous portion of beautifully cooked seabass. Do yourself a favour - visit this pub! The service too was lovely. The staff are all attentive, professional and friendly. Great value too. All round 10/10.

   Everything from customer experience to food quality was excellent. The portion sizes were spot on and the prices good value for money. The waiter was attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

    This was a last minute 'put a pin in the map' choice. We weren't disappointed. Charming pub with bar area where dog owners could eat. We ate in the main restaurant. Not too many tables, and there were also tucked away corners. Friendly welcome and attentive waiting staff. Good quality wine. There was a varied menu and the food was definitely cooked by a knowledgeable chef. Although a bit more expensive we felt we had value for money. What a find.
